Over the years and even now technology is making us lazy. Practically every aspect of our life has been surrounded by the use of technology and its advancements. Nowadays, food has become easier to prepare. There’s no need of standing in the kitchen all day anymore. With the convenience of a microwave, it has made our life a little easier. In fact, you can microwave a frozen dinner in just thirty-minutes. Many people have been exposed to the less stressful and convenient way of preparing meals. For these reasons it has resulted and leads us to be lazy and obesity. Meanwhile, fast food restaurants are one of the most common uses that most people depend on. In reality, I believe that as the advancements of technology increase over the years, people will continue to be lazy and depend more on them. This will continue to cause our brains to be inactive and our laziness to become more active. There’s so much that we as people can do without the use of advancement technology, but as society continues to tolerate technology we will continue to use it. I agree with Robert M. Pirsig, “Technology presumes there’s just one right way to do things and there never is”. There is always another way to do something, but it is our choice to want to do it.

The Effects of Technology Essay - . Technology has changed so many of the ways in which we live our lives, from the invention of the wheel to the advanced systems we use and take for granted everyday. Technology was once taboo in most house holds while people still clung to the idea that life was built on life experiences. Nicholas Carr stated in, Is Goggle making us stupid. "Back in the fourth century, BCE, Plato complained that writing (then a fairly new technology) was destroying peoples memory, yet he wrote dozens of books....   [tags: information age, social media]

The job market is utilizing more technology and equipment and utilizing less young labor. Parents are buying Wii’s for their children for exercise instead of bicycles. In today’s society, children are just downright lazy. By the time they are 16 years old, they are use-less. Technology: It’s Making Me Stupid Essay - As growing up in the “techie” generation, technology has had a major impact in my life. I haven’t had to take computer learning classes to inform me on how to use a computer, I haven’t had to have an explanation on how to txt, and I didn’t need help navigating my way around MySpace.
