Introduction
Technologies are getting more and more advanced day by day, as if we would never know what technologies will become by the next day morning, it grow fast and it keeps on changing. We could not deny that today’s technology changes our world and our way of living, most of the new devices that are invented are replacing the old ones, just as those phones with a physical keypad design are replaced with our new touch screen smart phone today, these changes occur rapidly. In this technology leading world, have you ever wondered, what are the next incredible devices will be invent? In this research report, I am going to introduce you, a brand new technology that were recently invented by Google, a device which is yet to be on the market, called Google Glass.
The idea of having everything you need in the blink of an eye has been talk nearly for centuries. It has been so long, that all of us longing for a brand new Technology like this, we have seen many movies, not recent, but the old one, scenes with people wearing a high technology glasses are just too familiar, people like us often wondering, when will we be able to live our world like them? Since the technology has become so advanced, will Google glass finally make our dreams possible? Or it is just too early to make it real? Before judging, let us understand what is Google Glass? It is basically a combination two device - Computer and Smart Phone - , instead of letting it fit on your hand like the normal smart phones do, Google decided to make it fit on your head. Google Glass is a spectacle-like smart phone, or a wearable computer, with an OHMD ( Optical Head-Mounted-Display ) technology which are developed by Google. The OHMD allows you to see t...

• Bad camera quality.
The first solution is, Improve the camera resolutions by adding pixel or change a different type of camera lenses.
The second solution for the bad camera quality are, enable an “Auto touch up” , which helps to adjust the brightness, contrast and sharpness of the image taken.
• Not a social friendly design.
Improve the design by referring to the modern spectacle design, since those designs are what the consumers are familiar with and would not feel weird when putting them on their head.

Wearable Augmented Reality (WAR) devices are defined as networked, multimedia computers that can be worn as glasses. They utilize “heads-up displays, sensors and earphones to provide an improved interface for these features by overlaying graphics, text, and sound on the physical world” [8]. WAR is a rapidly growing technology that has garnered attention from multinational corporations [2] to tinkerers who build Kickstarter projects [3] in their basement. In fact, the 2013 Emerging Technologies Hype Cycle released by Gartner in August 2013 mentions “Augmenting Humans with Technology” as one of six highlighted technologies [1]. Gartner speculates that narrowing the gap between humans and devices will result in productivity gains due to the workforce having quicker access to information.

There is a company known as Corning, you may or may not have heard of them but be assured they are prevalent in many fields as manufacturers of appliances with a wide ranges of uses. They have recently released information in the form of videos, articles, and Public Service Announcements in regards to a new product known as Smart-glass. They have mentioned in all their releases how the new technology will become ubiquitous in the near future. Also in their videos they show intended possible uses for the technology from everyday life to the work environment. With such a promising technology there begs the question, what moved Corning inc. to invest in smart glass technology? I propose that what moved Corning inc. to invest in smart glass technology was a perceived opportunity to branch out even more and allow for extensive innovation and spontaneity. I will be addressing my reasoning behind my idea for Corning's thinking behind the new technology, Smart-glass.
A former point-and-shoot photographer can take professional quality pictures with a digital SLR (single-lens reflex) camera by learning about and experimenting with its complex operations. There are many advantages to making the transition from a point-and-shoot digital camera to a digital SLR camera. These include capturing images “more quickly, more flexibly, and with more creativity” (Busch, Digital 9). Furthermore, taking photos with a digital SLR camera reduces the amount of time that otherwise would be spent editing with photo-editing software to improve the quality of the photos.
The Oculus Rift is a virtual reality headset that had one of the most successful Kickstarter campaigns to date, with its original focus being on increasing the immersive experience and interaction with games. Recently though, the company was purchased by Facebook for two billion dollars and has announced that other than gaming, they plan to expand the Oculus rift into “…communications, media and entertainment, education, and other areas.” (theconversation) Since the technology can be worn over the eyes, it actually feels as if while the headset is equipped that the user is within the world, or area that the Rift portray in the user’s view. This opens up the potential for communication with family members, lovers, and friends over long distances within ...
Technology is evolving and growing as fast as Moore’s Law has predicted. Every year a new device or process is introduced and legacy devices becomes obsolete. Twenty years ago, no one ever thought that foldable and paper screens would be even feasible. Today, although it isn’t a consumer product yet, foldable and paper screens are a reality. Home automation, a more prominent example of new technologies that were science fiction years ago are now becoming an integral part of life. As technology and its foothold in today’s world grows, its effects on humanity begin to show and much more prominently than ever. In his essay, O.k. Glass, Gary Shteyngart shows the effects of technology in general and on a personal note. Through the use of literary
Now now, I know that it might not seem like an important topic to ponder over, but with the easy access to a camera on the iPhone, I thought it would be great to share some tips and tricks on the iPhone camera since not all of us own a professional camera or even have the time to head over to Martin Hall to check one out. I would have to say, the iPhone camera is one of the best invention since sliced bread. HAHA. Ever since the great invention of the iPhone camera, iPhonegraphy (iPhone-photography) is now commonly used to take photographs compared to professional cameras and even a compact digital camera.

The birth of Google glass introduces a new innovation to how we live and see things in a new perspective. With the invention of Google glass, our world will change in ways we could not imagine. Google glass opens up new doors to where we can actually wear technology like an accessory. According to an article in the New York Times, “For Google, the glasses are a major step toward its dream of what is known as ubiquitous computing — the idea that computers and the Internet will be accessible anywhere and we can ask them to do things without lifting a finger.” (Miller) Basically, the goal of Google glass is to be able to use technology without it disrupting or interfering with our everyday lives. Although Google has good intentions, there have already been strong opinions to whether it would change our world for the good or the worse.
The world exists where people no longer wear just clothes, but a person wears a watch or a shirt that is always functioning and require a minimum of the wearer’s attention. Laptops are no longer need because with wearable computer on him why needs of a lab top. MIThril’s vision of this project is to provide our gifted society with a better way to computing. Laptops are the thing of the past; wearable computer is the step to the future.
It is inevitable that there is some challenges in the sector of photography industry in the future and
I have been waiting for such a perfect opportunity to purchase my dream computer; the MacBook Pro, manufactured by Apple that weighs 2.02 kg. Getting the right specification was the breakthrough because, even more, my desire for the 15-inch laptop computer. The 15-inch computer has over 5 million pixels, which gives it a stunning look, with images taking a new level of pragmatism. It has an impressive 2880-by-1880 resolution that enables the eyes to view more of high-resolution images. Besides, it has a Retina display , which minimizes glare, maintaining an incredible quality and color. As a result, the high contrast ratio makes black images look blacker while white images look whiter. The inclusive IPS technology allows the user to view everything on the screen at a 178-degrees angle.
Google started a project in April 2012 in one of their divisions called Google X. The project was called Project Glass and basically what the scientists and engineers did was solve one simple little problem. That problem was the purpose for the start of the project. They wanted to create a “wearable computer” that will allow people to explore and share the world from first person point of view. It also allows the user to experience a computer in first person. This will allow users to be on a computer and see the world and the things around them at the same time without having to look down at a screen which is the problem in today’s society. This was the start of a new technological innovation for both computers and glasses. This new technology can use many apps, Internet, and call people. The user can also video conference with other people on Google Glasses but the other person won’t be able to see the user’s face. Instead that person would see what the user is seeing.
As the world changes, more and more people are forced to communicate to each other digitally, allowing technology to connect. On the way to move forward, people have discovered that technologies are not neutral rather it is infused with values and different ideas of creators, aim and influence of the users. On 2013 Google released a device which is beyond someone’s imagination called the “Google Glass”. In a conference Graham, T., & Sauter, T. (2013). explains Google glass as “ Google’s ‘Project Glass’ - a wearable computing device to be released this year - to feel out what some of the ontological implications of the imminent integration of augmented reality technologies into modern techno social hybrid societies may be.” The project Google Glass was introduced to the public earlier in the year 2013 which took all the people by surprise. People did not think a device that can be used to take a picture, video, surf the web, text someone or share pictures and videos instantly, not by using a phone, computer but by using a glass. Yes, the future has arrived. Now with this technology further in this essay I will be discussing on can a technology of “Google Glass” exist?, the advantages and disadvantages of the glass and controversies and whether there will be any impact to the people, will there be any possibility that they could be harmful. With this I will be discussing the advantage and disadvantages and the future of “Google glass” and then the key arguments against “Google glass”.
There are many kinds of cameras available today, but not all cameras are created equal.
