1. I did some research about you, and I learned that you were actually a accountant for 8 years and because of your passion of writing you would write every Saturday to meet your writing goals. After working hard during the week and writing these long novels during the weekends, I have a question to ponder my mind. I want to know how you managed your time, social life, and family relation and still have time to do your passion and really what you like in writing?
The reason why I am asking this question is because we have so many things we like and passions in our life, but we are not able to do our passions and things that we like to do because we have to do our work, manage your family and stay involved in our social life. When we stay engaged in doing all these things we never get time to do what we like and our passion. I want to know how Mr. Dashner was able to do everything and still do what he likes to do.
2. As a young writer, even when I have to write a short story, I have so many writers block and other situations where I just run out of ideas. Many times in my story I loose the reader attention and the story gets boring. When I read you novel, you always kept my attention, which made me, read the book more and more. As a professional writer, I would like for you to give me any advice or suggestion for writing.
Even when we have to write a small short story in class that the teacher has to read we still run out of ideas and we take so much time. I want to know how Mr. Dashner is able to keep his readers attention over such a long book and the ideas that he uses are just unimaginable. I really would want him to give me advice so I can improve my writing skills.
3. Recently I found out that a movie about the Maz...

7. After finishing this series, are you planning to write a brand you series? It would be really appreciated by the readers, if you were to give a glimpse of the new series for the anticipating readers waiting for your next series.
As a reader I really want something like a trailer of glimpse given by the author so we know what to expect from his next series of books. I am anxiously anticipating for his next series he is going to write.
I read the rubrics of the questions and it tells you to ask questions about the main character. Because the Maze Runner is a big series and has several books, that I am planning to read, which is why I mainly asked question about author and writing instead of the plot and character, which I feel, will be answered in the following books.
What is the Maze Runner book about? The Maze Runner is written by James Dashner, which is about this young boy named Thomas arrives at the glade with his memory wiped out. When he gets there Thomas has many questions that he wants to be answered, but it takes a while for him to figure out the answer. He has an urge to go out with the rest of the runners into the maze. Ably the leader of the glade tells him he must not go in there because they have strict rules that must not be broken unless he wants to die out there. Later on, a girl named Teresa arrives and everything starts changing. Thomas remembers her in the past, but he can’t remember from where. They began talking and they start creating plans together. They both understand that in order to escape, they must all work as a team.
It was cold, dark, and he had no idea what was going on all he can remember partially of his name. He had started hearing conspicuous noises. He then looked at the sides of the chained wall. He saw this terrifying creature, then jolted back as soon as he saw it. Everything had just stopped and the top of the room opened up. This guy had then jumped down and brought him up and said, “Day one greenie.” As soon as he got up he started to run. But after 5-10 seconds he then fell. The guy who brought him up told him, “As long as you’re here you’ll never run again.”
This novel has incredible depth of meaning and detail located within Craig Silvey's Jasper Jones is remarkable. This novel continues to entertain me, and I look forward to finishing this novel.
“The Erasers” is more accessible than his later novels like “Jealousy“ and “In The Labyrinth”, both penultimate examples of the New Novel.
...ng done before the days lesson. I will also be monitoring the progress of the unit project which will be due at the end of the book. I also will be issuing a unit test that will include multiple choice and short answer questions. In the closing days of the unit I will also show one of the interesting versions of one of the movies made on the novel.
The Dystopian novels The Maze Runner and Divergent say it is okay to be different. For example the Maze Runner is about how a group of kids called the Gladers will find a way to conquer the maze. Conversely,Divergent is about Tris how she is divergent and she needs to survive. In this two stories the big themes is that a perfect society never works. In addition, of these great books show that it is okay to be different.
Margaret Atwood once stated, “Our problem right now is that we're so specialized that if the lights go out, there are a huge number of people who are not going to know what to do. But within every dystopia there's a little utopia,” which is a perfect description of when talking about The Maze Runner. James Dashner presents his idea of dystopia in a society which the reader sees instead as a utopia in many points of the book. Indeed, this is what keeps the readers thinking who side is everyone on. If utopia is what Dashner was trying to succeed in his book, The Maze Runner, then all the aspects of a true dystopian society start to show its true potential.
People do not have to fly to be hero, it takes much more. Many heroes of today are shown to have supernatural powers that makes them acquire amazing abilities, flying, super strength, skills to manifest anything, the list goes on. Our heroes in the present time are perceived by the audiences' mindset to have special powers but there are times where being a hero does not need to have all the extra tricks. Thomas, a character in The Maze Runner is thrown unconsciously with no memory into a place of the unknown called the Glades, consisting of only teenagers inhabiting the area. He would soon find out the whole place is bordered by a big wall that closes by night and day to protect them from the maze that are filled with demonic machines that will kill on sight. This begins his adventure, eager to learn what is out there and willing to become a maze runner which is equivalent to being a tribute for the greater good in their little homemade society. Having powers might help to become a hero, but in the dystopian novel The Maze Runner, by James Dashner, his protagonist Thomas demonstrates the hero journey in a more natural way by crossing the threshold, meeting a mentor, and lastly having tests, allies and enemies.
As these few tales reveal, my memories of writing are strongly connected with the intense emotions I felt as I grew up. They are filled with joy, disappointment, boredom, and pride. I believe that each of these experiences has brought me to where I am today. I can only look to the future and hope that my growth will continue, and my writing will reflect those changes within me. As a writer, I have grown immeasurably and will continue to so long as I can find some paper and a pencil.
Q. Awesome! So more about you, other than writing what are some things you enjoy?
I guess I should begin with the fact that I am beyond in love with your books. Every single one, even the ones that haven’t been published yet. I am an avid reader and have “loved” many of the books i’ve read but there is always something about your stories that have always felt immensely fascinating. The way that you construct your worlds and characters is so different from many other authors. Your characters feel so real as if I could call Aelin and ask her advice about the best ways to kick someones ass or ask Feyre about the best painting techniques. And to feel that as a reader is an amazing thing, to connect and feel emotions for characters that aren’t real. One of the most important points for me as a reader is for the world that an author has created
Adventures abound as Harry begins his new life learning to be a wizard. The Harry Potter books, four of which have been published, with another three planned, are so hugely popular that the New York Times Book Review was forced to revise their best-seller list in order to appease publishers and authors of adult material. Because the first Harry book dominated the best-seller list since its inception in 1998, children's books must now appear only on t...
Hey you, Yeah… YOU! Would you want to live in a society where you live in a box for your entire life, and mean absolutely nothing to the just about anyone? For science right? NOPE! Obviously, Societies fall as a result of a corrupt government, Failing Social Structure, and Sickness. It is due to these factors that many great societies such as Greece, Rome, and the society depicted in the book Maze Runner fall.
...en had to take a rather steep nose-dive before leveling out again and delivering the traditional unexpected yet amazing ending I have come to expect from King. If you strip away all of the irrelevant and nonsensical material from the Dark Tower series, what remains would leave us with about half as many books to read, but much better overall quality. At the time of my reading I was unaware of the eighth book in the series, but I definitely plan to purchase it and add it to my personal collection.
The books were full of edgy, scary grit that had the power to infect every facet of the mind – causing plenty of darkness laced paranoia and sleepless nights. But, that was half the fun (at least it seems that way now). From zombies, mummy’s and talking dummies, the seemingly endless array of villainy was enough – one story
