Peoples health is very different in other sides of the world. The health problems are different and the health care systems are various. People living in separate countries are in quite different position depending on where they live: in rich or in poor country, in developed or developing country. In this task I will write a presentation of heath care systems in the three different countries: Finland, United Kingdom and Ethiopia. United Kingdom represents a developed country and a Ethiopia is developing country. Finland is a country in northern Europe. The population in Finland was 5,4 million people in 2012, and the annual population growth is near 0% (The World Bank 2013). The population increased of 25 407 person during 2012, and 87% of those spoke a foreign language as their mother tongue (Tilastokeskus 2013). Life expectancy in Finland is 77 years among men and 84 years among women (The World Bank 2013). The United Kingdom in western Europe consists of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The population in UK was 63,2 million people in 2012, and the annual population growth is about 1% (The World Bank 2013). Life expectancy in UK is 79 years among men and 83 years among women (The World Bank 2013). About 1/5 people in the United Kingdom will be aged 65 or over by 2030 (European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies 2013). There has been very much immigration in UK for a long time in history, and nowadays there exists many different cultures in the country (Ulkoasiainministeriö 2013). Ethiopia is Africa's oldest independent state, and one of the world's poorest countries. The population in Ethiopia was 91,7 million people in 2012, and the annual population growth is about 3%. Old age and old people are not so respected in western cultures, than in some close communities, where people take care of each other and respect the life experience. How does this affect to our happines in life? Anyway, with our modern knowledge of health care, high educated health professionals, well-developed healthsystems, skills, opportunities, medicines, vaccinations and prevetion which reaches all citizens, we have reduced the number of diseases, improved the health and lengthened the lifetime. Scientific knowledge, the right information and know-how are the things we should give to people who doesn’t have it. Working methods to treat diseases and prevention should be shared to developing countries, in terms of their culture, life conditions, needs, wealthy and opportunities, so that their own resources could be used in an effactively way.
