That is why, there are a number of people tend to go to private tutoring classes or sessions in order to obtain additional knowledge. Thus, private tutoring is defined as a fee-based parallel education sector that provides additional instruction to students enrolled in the public school system. This lead to the widespread of private tutoring phenomenon in many countries where they claimed that this kind of additional education is a helpful tool for their studying progression. According to Jim Rohn, “Learning is the beginning of wealth. Learning is the beginning of health. Learning is the beginning of spirituality. Searching and learning is where the miracle process all begins.” Education plays a major role in the every society, which can hinder one or enhance one’s mind. The key to learning is staying focus and wanting to grasp information that will help one pursue higher education in the near future. Home and public schools both have their pros and cons, but they both instill knowledge within the students. When it’s time for kids to go to school, parents must decide what type of educational environment would be better for their child. The best solution is to find the perfect learning facility that the individual
A big aspect of public schools that you don’t always get, is the teaching knowledge that professional teachers have. When a parent decides to teach their student, you could make the argument that the student would be receiving a worse education, although no one has a better understanding of their student like a parent would. One very popular idea parents are adopting is to hire a private tutor for their child. Tutors are a great tool parents can use for children, although a lot of parents today aren’t financially sound, therefore parents are unable to afford a private tutor for their children. A struggle parents have is getting the socialization their child needs, since most public school activities are not an option.

Today, the way the educational system works in the U.S. concerns a large number of people in this country. "Only 25% of adults have a great deal of confidence in the people running education, according to the General Social Survey, down from 49% in 1974" (Russel 4). A lot of discussions have been held to find the best ways to improve teaching methods. At the same time, people recognize that a very valuable solution to increase the level of education in the United States is to look at some problems that cause difficulties and hamper the enhancement of the quality of education. The first step is to define these problems. As in every country, the U.S. wants to develop its national standards in education and wants them to be high. This has always been a government function. Being democratic, the government is trying to fit the qualities of democracy into the way to set these standards. Of course, this is not an easy task since this country has a very diverse population. To please everybody has always been an almost impossible task. Despite this impossibility, national standards have already been set. "If a visitor from another nation was dropped into an American public school classroom without knowing the state or the region, he or she would be likely to see the same lesson taught in the same way to children of the same age" (Ravitch 9). Everything seems right except the fact that the abilities of children are different. Not everybody is able to study at a college; not everybody wants to continue being educated. It is obvious that every country wants to produce as many educated people as possible. But, at the same time, every country needs workers because, regardless of the fast development of technology, there is still a great necessity for human labor. To satisfy all the necessities of the country, the government should provide different kinds of education. This does not mean that we need to eliminate all of the standards; they could be set in each field of education. Although standards are set, there is still a very big difference in teaching methods in different schools. Perhaps, the most serious problem starts in high schools: some schools provide a higher level of education than others. Students from most city schools graduate with the confidence in their knowledge; their level of educati...
Income inequality in the United States is directly correlated with education decline over the past 40 years. People with lower incomes tend to have less opportunities for a good education than those with higher incomes. American education, when compared to other nations, has dropped dramatically due largely to a rise in income inequality since the 1970s. Not only has economic inequality lead to academic decline and disparity, but academic disparity has also tended to lead to further economic inequality. Because of this, improving the American education system can effectively decrease the income gap. If done correctly, the usage of an alternative school model, specifically the private school model, rather than the usual public school model can reduce economic inequality.
Public schools in the United States are provided by the state, and federal funding. More than 90 percent of children attend public schools. Private schools in the United States include schools in which religion is a priority. Clearly, public schools provide more education than private schools in the United States. Private schools are built were created for the administration, and parents to communicate, and a priority to involve parents in the child’s learning environment. From frequent parent-teacher meetings, social events, and family events, and fundraising initiatives, families become an important part of the child’s education. This also creates a strong bond between parent, and student. Also qualified teachers are making a difference
“When children teach children, the result is marked improvement in student learning which increases the productivity of the school, In peer tutoring, students are ‘prosumers’ - they are both producers and consumers of education”, based on Peer Tutoring Facts. Majority of the students in a classroom struggle with the comprehension and sometimes their educator can’t solve that problem. Some students that struggle don’t know how to reach out for help, they just fall behind and have no one to help them. If there was a television show that was based on a camera that looked over every student’s desk, the show would be hilarious and very interesting. There are three types of students: 1. The student who pays attention, great note taker, passes the
In the recent times, home schooling has been the most sought mode of learning by the American parents. In fact, it estimated that over 1 million children in America are now undergoing home schooling (Cooper, 2005). Although this form of learning is legally acceptable, parents are entrusted with teaching and coaching their children in all subjects. In addition, parents can also hire private tutors for their children as part of home schooling. This form of learning is aimed at ensuring that parents commit themselves in ensuring their children are able to learn like other kids in public schools.
However, one should be fair in that negative aspects of public schools are seen because they have been running for a long period of time on a very wide range. Perhaps the negative aspects of homeschooling will become more clear with the time. In addition, the writer of this article is supporter of homeschooling, and as he mentioned in the beginning of the article “rational debators in both parties claim that their way of educating is more beneficial for children in social, pyscological, and academic way.” In addition, other factors play a role in making the descision beside the benefits of each type of schools. These factors include the educational background, financial status, and well being of the parents of the student. Moreover, it might be wise to consult the student him or herself which type of schools would he or she prefer and
The above theories help provide more clarification about the concern and rationale of the study. For better knowledge and clarity, the researcher focused on the effects of personal tutoring on the learning performance of
In our society now education is in a state of distress. It has become increasingly difficult to find a way for the education system to work for a variety of students; therefore it has been geared for the masses. It is stunningly clear that very few people have stopped and thought that maybe education should not be for the masses but instead for the students individually.
According to Vygotsky (1978), much important learning by the child occurs through social interaction with a skilful tutor. The tutor may model behaviours and/or provide verbal instructions for the child.
The number of students who study at their home is increasing year after year. Nowadays, many families believe that regular schools do not provide the perfect education for their children. Also, they say that traditional schools cannot improve students’ abilities, and they cannot focus on the students because there are many students in classes. Therefore, they believe that homeschooling is better than traditional schools. It can be clear seen that many families homeschooling their children for many reasons. Weather it about the negative impacts of traditional schools such as there are many students on classes or for religion reasons. They move to homeschooling their children, and they denied the negative influences for home-educate on them. Moreover, they want to ensure that their children get the kind of education for their children, and they want to avoid the disadvantage of regular schools. Consequently, they miss out the negative influences for homeschooling. However, homeschooling has many negative impacts on children such as lack of social interaction, loss of school activities, and parents unable to manage their time to teach.

To decide which one we will choose and we have to know the differences and similarities about the public and private schools as well.
