'To make Beefeater the first choice as a great place to eat and
drink.'
The Lydiard Travel Inn, Beefeater restaurant, Pub and Touchbase is
situated just off junction 16 of the M4, beside the Hilton
International. It has a 150 seater Beefeater restaurant, which is open
all day from breakfast for overnight guests until evening dinner.
For Beefeater to function efficiently and effectively the marketing
team must analyse past performance and present trends, and attempt to
predict the future in the form of marketing plan. There are a number
of planning techniques and processes which have been used
successfully, they are:
· SWOT analysis
· Marketing mix
· Boston matrix
· Ansoff strategy

6% were "currently a meat eater but would like to become a vegetarian".
25% thought that is not "safe and healthy", rising to 34% in 15-24 yr

36% of non-vegetarians would consider becoming a vegetarian if they
felt animal farming was cruel.
82% felt that in the future there will be more vegetarians.
75% felt that in the future people will eat less meat.
80% claimed to prefer to buy food that is cruelty free and good for
the environment
These statistics clearly show that there needs to be a provision for
vegetarian customers. The data however would need to be compared to
more recent data to check validity and to identify any trends in the
data such as cruelty to animals.

... look out for high profile contacts and good image building activities especially due to the on going outsourcing concern. As community theatre boards include executive level staff these consulting companies could get high visibility and a sophisticated image by pairing up with something as ?cultured? as theatre. These companies can be requested by the boards of community theaters to sponsor the building and maintenance of the theatre websites in exchange for good PR and contacts.
It’s illegal to advertise gambling during children’s programming, but sporting “telecasts” are still allowed to air.
The legalization of euthanasia and physician assisted suicide is an abomination to the government’s duty to protect its citizens. The government is supposed to put laws to protect people and making a law legal for physician assisted suicide is against the peaceful sanctity of life and shows the government inadvertently supports killing. Euthanasia is murder or manslaughter, by the definition of law, even if the patient specifically asked for them to be killed.
Terminally ill patients should have the legal option of physician-assisted suicide. Terminally ill patients deserve the right to control their own death. Legalizing assisted suicide would relive families of the burdens of caring for a terminally ill relative. Doctors should not be prosecuted for assisting in the suicide of a terminally ill patient. We as a society must protect life, but we must also recognize the right to a humane death. When a person is near death, in unbearable pain, they have the right to ask a physician to assist in ending their lives.

The scholarly article which I selected to review addressed the strategic implementation of marketing initiatives within international higher education entities (Naidoo & Woo, 2011). This article was of particular interest to me due to its specific focus on marketing within higher education entities (HEI’s). The authors focused their research on 10 universities which recruit international students; specifically, on 570 questionnaires from mid-level marketing managers responsible for strategic implementation of marketing initiatives. (Naidoo & Woo, 2011, p. 1117) The authors note the disparity in success between HEI’s in addressing the international student market, and raise the implied question of whether differences in successful strategic implementation could be contributory. This study focuses on strategic implementation, as contrasted with strategic formulation, as a driver for marketing success. The premise of the authors is that by focusing on the factors which influence successful strategic implementation, HEI’s can enhance marketing program success. In addition to highlighting strategic implementation as a marketing success factor, they emphasize the value of a higher education focus in their research. Although this business category has achieved prolific growth in recent years, most marketing research has been focused on a general business environment.

Euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide should become legal and available as an option for patients. Death is a personal situation and decision in life. Euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide have the power to save lives and by the government interfering and not legalizing it they are interfering and violating patient’s personal freedom and human rights. Euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide should become legal for patients; however, there should be strict rules and guidelines to follow. If suicide isn’t a crime why should euthanasia and assisted suicide?
Market opportunities for breakfast cereals is vast, some segments of the market have been neglected, most notably that of the over-50’s. Insightful presentations were given at the “Older, Richer, Wiser” Conference that would suggest the over 50’s market segment is targetable.
Too often, a marketing function is misunderstood, because many people do not understand what is meant by ‘Marketing’.
Marketing is a fundamental aspect of all businesses, whether they are set out to make a profit, or charitable organisations - they will have to carry out marketing research of some description. It has been described as being, “the management process responsible for identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer requirements profitably.” (Chartered Institute of Marketing) This essay will explore the role of marketing in a marketing oriented business and different aspects of the external environment that a smartphone company should be aware of. The points raised throughout will be supported using relevant journals, textbooks and newspaper articles.
Marketing is a core pillar of an organization and contribute significantly in its prosperity through attaining the laid down targets as well as scope of development. The position of an organization is hugely based on its competitiveness and capacity to capture a significant portion of the market in relation to the prevailing needs of consumers. Interaction of the organization with the consumers and the potential consumer in the market arena is attained through the marketing wing of the organization (Ferrell& Hartline, 2012). The preferences of the consumer and avenues of satisfaction are aligned to the established marketing frameworks. However, the success of organization marketing is highly inclined to the marketing strategies formulated and adapted towards coping with competition and eventually enhancing firm competitiveness.
Marketing can be seen as an effective way to communicate the value and purposes of a product or service to customers and consumers; for the primary purpose of selling that product or service. However, there are many different types of strategies that dissipates uniquely into different the ranges of the marketing spectrum.
