Everything flows perfectly in the rhythm of life. Some people are born with 300 bones, some are more creative than others, others with fears, others with talents, we are all different in every way there could be. But we are all born with some sort of knowledge. As you are growing you go creating your own cultural knowledge, some more extent than others. This is when you generate your own “custom made” cultural knowledge; meaning what you want to learn and perceive. Cultural knowledge is basically the skills you take possession of through education and experience. Knowledge is the analytical and factual understanding of a topic. Factual knowledge is what can be considered obvious and can be learned. Analytical is more of accepting different cultural traits, values, and even beliefs. On the other hand cultural intelligence surrounds us; it is basically being open-minded about learning different cultures. The more techniques we know the more wise we can become in this field. Cultural intelligence is divided into four branches: cultural drive, knowledge, strategy and action.

Empire of the Sun is a movie about is a movie about a wealthy British boy named Jim who is currently living in Shanghai. During World War Jim becomes a prisoner of war in a Japanese imprisonment camp. From living an easy life Jim has to become completely helpless from all the accommodations his parents gave him. Whenever he was separated from his parents in the commotion scene when the Japanese invaded Shanghai his life changed completely for the coming 4 years. Starting from this point Jim starts gaining cultural intelligence in his stay in the camp. ...decided to stop exchanging it because they realized how bad it had become and how many people had died from it. Japan wanted this drug so bad they started creating hate towards the Chinese. China realized what they had caused and knew that Japan was a very strong country in Asia, from this point they started creating a xenophobic attitude towards the Japanese. This influenced Japan to think of attacking the Chinese to get their natural resources and start funding Japan’s economy. East Asia was always what attracted the Japanese more since it was there where all the resources were. Around the 1930’s is when Japanese started to push around China; by 1934 this was fully blown into a war. Two groups were the ones who influenced in China more the nationalism and the communism. Slowly Japan started to invade most of the country and China became literally worthless.
