Twitter started from a group effort back in March 2006 (Carlson, 2011). The real history of how Twitter was created is by an individual named Noah Glass. He is an entrepreneur and started the Odeo, which is a product where a person can call a phone number and it would turn to a MP3 message. There were speculations if Evan Williams was the creator of Twitter, but the actually creator is Noah Glass. Evan Williams was a former Google employee who was an investor of Odeo and heavily involved with the program and eventually move the startups program to his old apartment. Later on, moving toward the inventions of Twitter, there were other people like Web designer Jack Dorsey; Engineer Blaine Cook; and German contract developer Florian Weber.
By July 2005, there was a situation where Apple announced iTunes and it include the podcasting platform, such as the Odeo program (Carlson, 2011). When Apple came with this invention it killed the Odeo product in the business. So Odeo future was not in podcasting and then they came up with ideas to start twitter. The system would send a text to one number and it would broadcasted out to all friends as Twttr. They all agreed that Noah predominantly came up with the project to be started and Blaine Cook called Noah the “spiritual leader” behind Twitter (Carlson, 2011).
Circumstances for Merger (TweetDeck)
Twitter has merged three different companies into their corporation thus far. There are circumstances that are involved in merging these companies and reasons for doing so. When the Jewish Telegraph Agency published their list of the 100 Most Influential Jewish Twitterers, Adam Milstein came in at number 21. The list honors individuals with a large number of followers who tweet about and participate in Twitter discussions regarding Jewish issues.
Within the last two decades, our social media has rapidly developed and it becomes one of the most influent types of social communication. Though its original purpose is to be a convenient way to converse distantly, it becomes multi-tasked in recent years which some notable Internet corporations such as Facebook, Tweeter create new applications that expand its purpose from talking only. In a way, it renovates the idea of entertainment.

The overall company is well liked and admired, with the CEO receiving fantastic feedback as well as the employees. To support this, employees within Twitter have said, “Ready for IPO means good benefit + various projects + strong will for growth … People are awesome: we really care about each other … Fascinating food!” and, “Great food. Plenty of awesome people to collaborate with and learn from. Real sense of care of employees, and a great development environment” (Geekwire). These are only a few comments of the many fabricating the incredible care for employees and a great work environment. Everyone within Twitter collaborates enforcing people to care about concocting a flourishing company and not about their job titles.
In theory, on October 2003, Facebook actually started from the idea of Facemash. Facemash uploaded by Mark Zuckerberg was only available for Harvard students where they compared two students and stated whether they were hot or not. Mark was able to upload more student pictures by hacking into the Harvard database where student profiles were contained. However, day’s later outraged students demanded Zuckerberg shut down the site. But one thing was clear, people like to go on the Internet and check out pictures of their friends. What's not clear was that Zuckerberg was also working on another site called HarvardConnection.com for Cameron Winklevoss, Tyler Winklevoss and Divya Narendra who later sued Mark for allegedly stealing their idea with the creation of Facebook.
WeChat was earlier called “Weixin” and Ma Huateng, CEO of Tencent, devised it. It was rembranded in April 2012, for international markets. What began as a small project at Tencent Guangzhou Research and Project centre in October 2010, now quickly garnered more than 300 million users worldwide. The growth and popularity of WeChat has been phenomenal as it grew from 5 million users in 2011 to more than 300 million users in 2013.
In an effort to gain a working understanding of the Human Resources field, I chose to interview the Director of Human Resources for an organization in Miami, Florida. What I learned goes far beyond any classroom or textbook instruction. It is clear; the field of Human Resources will never be static, as society, technology, and legal environments change, so will the field of Human Resources.

Social media has become a major epidemic in today’s society. According to millions of people have signed up on social media websites, allowing their basic information to be shared with the world wide web. Two of the biggest social media websites today are Facebook and Twitter. The new generation tends to use Twitter over Facebook, the older generation prefer Facebook over Twitter. Though Facebook and Twitter serve the same purpose and have many similarities, they both differ in many ways.
