To begin, according to the Merriam Webster dictionary, “abortion is the spontaneous or induced termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus.” Frankly speaking, abortion is the deliberate act or termination of a life (pregnancy). Most often the abortion is performed during the first twenty-eight (28) weeks of the pregnancy. Life begins upon the sperm and egg culminating/conception, whether this implantation/merging is called an embryo or fetus, it is in fact a human being. To abort a life is a heinous crime and should be considered and prosecuted as murder, unless the mother’s life would be in danger, if the fetus, embryo, baby, or child was carried to full term.

Death is to end a life either by normal/ natural channels, accidental death, or abortion, which is taking of a life or murder. Abortion is definitely a violation of another human being’s right to live. Humans are created by a creator and given the gift of life, thus to take a person’s life that is not in the position to defend or speak on one’s own behalf is to impose your will upon another human being. An embryo/fetus/baby is at the mercy of the mother or/and the abortionist; thus to terminate the life of the fetus is death and deemed as murder.
Some might argue that miscarriage is the same as abortion but, according to the Merriam Webster dictionary, miscarriage is defined as “when the fetus is extracted from the womb, before it is capable of surviving on its own.” This is caused by natural causes and not induced in any way by any other human being....
