Globalization is the increased productivity of a business by using international borders to increase and multiply their output and profit. It has grown in enormous amounts in the 20th century and is expected to keep growing because of its rapid popularity. Primarily, globalization of a business is moving or building a branch of a company in a different country to expand consumer demographics, to take advantage of that country’s more affordable costs and fees, and it’s slightly less strict rules and regulations. Management in the globalization of business has become more complicated due to different restrictions on management and employee relationships because of this internationalism. Even though this poses as a serious problem, if the right steps are taken, it can be handled.
First off let’s talk about multinational corporations or MNC’s. These are the basic and primary physical characteristic of globalization. Investopedia defines MNC’s as, “A corporation that has its facilities and other assets in at least one country other than its home country”. This means that corporations can open service facilities and manufacturing plants in other countries. While this can be a positive by providing job opportunities to developing countries and access to a variety of products it can also turn into negative by not providing jobs to people in their home countries and eventually exploiting the developing countries resources. This is where managerial problems arise. Managers have to go through culture shock when being sent to an abroad corporation location while making sure employees are paid fairly and maintaining the ethical duty of their post.

Following the globalization, many companies in developed countries move factories to developing nations. As a multinational company, there is at least one facility in one country other than its home country. Those companies have offices and factories in different countries and usually have a centralized head office in their home country. Advocates of multinationals say they create jobs and wealth. And multinationals can improve technology in developing countries, which are in need of this. On the other hand, critics say multinational companies often barely pay employees enough to live on in developing countries, and it is unethical to pay cheap wages.

Workers overseas get lower wages compared to the workers working in the more developed countries. Exploited, there’s nothing that the workers can do about it since they aren’t allowed to create unions to protect themselves. Countries are now even more in debt as some people believe that the IMF and the World Bank take advantage of them controlling not only their economy but even their politics. Inflation happens to a country, and in Jamaica, chaos was created due to that issue, the people became pugnacious and became rebellious. Economic globalization can bring many good opportunities, but it could also bring some sort of adverse outcomes to a country.
With the proliferation of the internet international Business transactions are more common today than ever. Globalization is now a key factor when creating a business strategy for most companies whether they are small family own businesses or huge corporations. Globalization however does not just involve selling a product in other countries. There are legal and cultural concerns that must be addressed. The legal aspects are fairly simple because in most places the laws are spelled out. It's the local customs, and regional way of doing things that can be tricky. Research on globalization has shown that it is not an omnipotent, unidirectional force leveling everything in its path. Because a global culture does not exist, any search for it would be futile. It is more fruitful to instead focus on particular aspects of life that are indeed affected by the globalizing process. (1). In this new economy, as it has been in the past, it will be the people not the machines who will determine a company's success. It is interesting and very pleasant to see how people from across the world work together to come up with ideas that make their company the best in what they do. This interconnection among people and places throughout the world which is with increasing level is called globalization. Therefore, success in the large-scale economy requires a number of elements. One of the major determinants is dependent on global managers. In the operation of organizations, managers may encounter different international management challenges that restrict their business development. These challenges often include issues associated with the host countries, the global workforce diversity management, management across cultures, difficulties in competitive global business environment as well as in the process of global planning and controlling.
