J.R.R. Tolkien has a very unique was of writing and thinking. Why say that well let me tell you. One of the most celebrated writers in the world, and also many other works of writing and literature has not diminished the view of J.R.R. Tolkien. He has ushered us into a new age of literature and a new view of fantasy books and in all of our lives is a really positive effect. And it all happened through his imagination, and on might even say that we are in a new era of literature related advancements. It all starts with J.R.R. Tolkien’s birth on January 3, 1892. His full name is John Ronald Reuel Tolkien He was born to his father, Arthur Reuel Tolkien, and his mother, Mabel Nee Suffield. J.R.R. Tolkien’s early life is very exciting and sad. It was exciting because at the age of eight he was the cofounder of two new languages and the founder of one language by himself. He and his friends used the all of the time in their games and sometimes wrote messages to each other. These three languages were called Animalic (which his friends helped with), Nevbosh (also invented with his friends), and Naffarin (the first language that he invented by himself). While one could say that he had the best childhood ever there were also some sad parts to it. One of which was when he and his brother became orphans. It all happened when his last remaining relative, his mother, died in 1904. Years earlier his father had died in 1896. Tolkien and his four brothers were given into the care of the Catholic priest and he assumed guardianship in Birmingham. There he met his future with Edith. They lived in the same orphanage, and the fell in love. But the Catholic priest said that she was distracting Tolkien from his studies. This story begins with a small fellow by the name of Bilbo Baggins. This fantasy story was written in 1956 by J.R.R. Tolkien. It is about a hero’s journey through the dangers and wonders of Middle Earth. Although it was not meant to become such a well-known book, it is filled with much literature. Throughout the book, Tolkien uses literary devices such as repetition, similes, and metaphors to develop the theme of cunning and cleverness.
J.R.R Tolkien was born January 3rd, 1892 in Bloemfontein, South Africa to a British couple. Tolkien was also known as John Ronald Reul Tolkien. Both of John’s parents passed away when Tolkien and his siblings were young and they were put into foster care for about five years. Tolkien was an author, scholar, assistant on Oxford English Dictionary, and many other important occupations. Ronald won many awards for his works. He won the Children’s Spring Book Festival award for The Hobbit, the International Fantasy Award for The Lord of the Rings, and the Locus Award for The Silmarillion, which is given out for having the best fantasy novel. J.R.R. Tolkien can be considered the founding father of the genre fantasy. Most of Tolkien’s texts revolve around the same themes. An author will often write about important messages that pertain to society as a whole. His texts often have hidden messages that relate to his themes. In the fantasy novel The Hobbit and novella “Farmer Giles of Ham”, J.R.R. Tolkien demonstrates that possession ears to overconfidence, greed and selfishness.
While it is certainly an exciting and well written work of fantasy, which cannot help but grip the imagination, all this would be for naught except for the poignancy of the themes which serve as its backbone. Foremost of these is Tolkien’s determination to show the natural world as the measure of all things. His world revolves around nature, and his character’s affinity to it determines their place in Middle-Earth.

The Hobbit, written by John R. R. Tolkien, is a fantasy novel published on September 21, 1937. It was written as a prelude to the famous series, The Lord of the Rings, written seventeen years later. The Hobbit introduces the reader to an incredibly immersive fantasy world, that enriches the reader into its epic storyline. The story takes place in a land called Middle-earth, a land filled with enchanting surprises and magical wonders. It was the perfect playground for Tolkien to develop his main character Bilbo Baggins. Bilbo Baggins was a small hobbit, who unaware in the beginning would become a large role in the plot. It is through this character that Tolkien implemented the theme of heroism into the story. Bilbo’s unexpected adventure with the dwarves and the wizard gave him the opportunity to develop into the ultimate hero of Tolkien’s tale. Bilbo’s epic journey to become the hero of the story begins when Gandalf, the wizard, tells Bilbo of an expedition that would soon change his life forever.
It is shown that this story can convey a strong message that all readers should know. That when you believe in yourself that you could accomplish things that were only in your wildest dreams. Bilbo Baggins had been the one to overcome his fear of changing his daily life and become the hero that he should be known for. Even though he starts off as the most non-courageous person in the world into a great hero. He goes one to defeat spiders, goblins, and outsmarts doby into getting the ring.

Tolkien's famous book, "The Lord of the Rings", has been repudiated as one of the best fantasies ever written. Tolkien creates a very deep intimacy between the book and the reader, he captures the reader's attention and lures him into the story.
