People are always saying how being gay is not okay, and that God says in the bible that it should be man and woman not man and man. But It also says in the bible that no one should judge one another, whether it be on looks, height, race, and or gender. So I feel like all these people that are judging all the people who are making the decision to be gay is wrong. If they truly went off of what the bible said, They’d know that all sins are equal. So them judging them about being gay is a sin, well they’re sinning just like the gays are. I think that no matter what god loves you. The way I feel about it is, is that if they’re happy, let them be happy. They deserve to be happy just like everyone else. They’re human aren’t they? Just because what they’re doing is a sin, doesn’t mean we have to hate or dislike what they’re doing. It’s what they choose to do and it should not have anything to do with you. So yes, I feel like they should have just as much rights as we do. If they want to be married, let them. What harm will it do to the Earth? The world has always shunned the gays and the kids in todays’ time see that, so they feed off of what their parents say and they’ll be that way for the rest of their life. I have a gay cousin, doesn’t mean I’m going to love him any less. He’s a normal person just like everyone else and he deserves to get treated that way. As of July 17, 2013, gay marriage has been legalized in 14 US states (California, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington) and the District of Columbia. Proponents argue that same-sex couples should have access to the same marriage benefits and public ack... ... middle of paper ... ...fe, everyone deserves to be happy and if you can make someone’s day better or make them happy that day then you’re doing it right. One of the hardest things to do as a Christian is to say no to things you shouldn’t do, but even if you don’t say no and you ask for forgiveness and try to better yourself the next time around that he’ll forgive you. So maybe gays aren’t able to say no, but I guarantee that the others that do believe in God are finding other ways to give back to him and do everything in his name so that God will forgive them. There’s a lot of different views to this and my view that I’m trying to express is that let them do what they want, It isn’t affecting your life is anyway. What they choose to do is what they want, It doesn’t matter if it says it’s wrong in the bible because you’re doing some bad things yourself according to the bible. God forgives.
With the economic support, the adoption rates rising, and the equality same-sex couples deserve, gay marriage deserves to be legalized throughout the nation and the world. Rejecting the right of marriage to these couples hurts them and the way they are able to live their lives. Everyone deserves marriage and life equality despite the person they love because we have equality rights based on us as an individual, not on who we decide to love.
However, what many people does not realized it is that by stating that God does not agree with homosexuality, they are segregating homosexuals and treating them differently. For example, there have been several news and statistical data that shows how the LGBT community is sometimes treated unequal in many ways, especially marriage. Marriage is defined as the civil union of two people that love each other. However, gay marriage was not permitted on several states until June of 2015. It was not until June 26, 2015 that the US Supreme Court that stated how the constitution of the United States will guarantee the right of marriage to couple of the same sex. Furthermore, compared to other times a lot more people are supporting the LGBT community,”
People’s different values and morals play a role in defining what they believe. Many people find homosexuality to be not natural, and it goes against many people’s views. However, there is also a lot of people who argue in favor of homosexuality and find nothing about it unnatural. For those people who do think it is not natural they normally use the argument that this kind of sex can not reproduce, therefore it is not right because the point of sex is to reproduce. Many times the Bible will also be used to refer to verses that condemn acts of homosexual sex. People who favor the morality of homosexuality find many things wrong with these arguments. To say that the only purpose of sex is to reproduce would be wrong because there are many examples of heterosexual couples who have sex without the intention of conception. Medical problems, protected sex, and just sex for fun are all reasons why
If that is the case, we must own the beauty that exists in and around us as the persons that we, the straight and the gay, the bisexual and the heterosexual, the lame and the blind, the deaf and the dumb, in short, God’s people. Since God has created us all in God’s own image, why do we bother to hold grudge against others, because he or she is not like you? What we need to question ourselves is “Why should the other be like me?” We have been called by grace to be the church, a community of believers that are diverse and, when God has not discriminated any of us, then why do we take time to hurt and persecute others, knowingly and unknowingly? 1 Corinthians 1:28-29 mentions “God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that are not, to reduce to nothing things that are so that no one might boast in the presence of God.” It is the need of the time that we understand the character of God. We are created, redeemed and sanctified only by God. We all are low, we are dust, we do not have worth, it is by God’s grace that we have been chosen to be God’s beloved children. I will say it again, “we have been chosen to be God’s beloved children,” which means all of us, humans, whom God has created! Today, I would invite each of you to take time and ask yourself a question: What have I done that God has chosen me? I am sure, the answer would be “Nothing.” So,
Religion has been a big issue with judging homosexual. Some Christians believe that the Bible speaks with one clear voice in condemning homosexuality. In many Anti-gay Christians groups see homosexuality as sinful. Using the Bible to justify their hate against anything they do not understand.
God’s love for homosexuals is no less than His love for the liar, the thief and the pedophile. He sent Jesus into the world and then revealed his life and teaching and the purpose of his death and resurrection through the gospel in order that you and I might be saved from our sin. The conditions for ALL sinners is the same: You must believe in the Lord Jesus, repent of your sins and be baptized (immersed) in water for the forgiveness of your sins (Acts 2:36-38). After which, you are raised to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:1-14). If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact us.
"[I]t seems appropriate to understand sexual orientation (heterosexual or homosexual) as a deep-seated dimension of one's personality and to recognize its relative stability in a person. Generally, homosexual orientation is experienced as a given, not as something freely chosen. By itself, therefore, a homosexual orientation cannot be considered sinful, for morality presumes the freedom to choose. The teachings of the Church make it clear that the fundamental human rights of homosexual persons must be defended and that all of us must strive to eliminate any forms of injustice, oppression, or violence against them"(Pastoral).
In addition to happiness, people should not be going around judging each other on how someone looks, acts, or even identifies. The Bible says that we should not judge one another on any level. Many people believe that being transgender is a sin in God’s eyes. However, judging is also a sin. When a transgender child walks down the hallway and all of the other students are laughing and judging them, they are committing a sin. A sin that a cisgender child does is not“better” than a sin done by a transgender child, both are seen as equal in the eyes of the Lord. I feel
I also believe that a person who is homosexual should be given the same rights as any other heterosexual person because after all, we are all human beings. Many may say that “oh yes, the Bible condemns it” but the Bible also said to “Do unto others as you would like them do unto you.” I think that we as humans have developed this negative behavior to when it comes to difference. Some may compare homosexuality to incest and molestation and rape but such a comparison is quite unfair, as with incest, molestation and rape, there is no free consent to it.
There are many people who will try to condemn homosexuals for their sins, but God loves us and we will all have our time in front of him to confess our sins and be judged. I am sure God did not intend his word to divide us and create hate. We should all remember the two great commandments as stated by Christ. Mark 12:30-31; You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
We have no right to judge. We should leave that to the Lord, and he will make the right decision. He will decide what the sinner does and doesn't deserve. Christians know what to abide by. They may know that being a homosexual is going against Gods word, but they also know that the Lord says that one should love all no matter what circumstances.
...g and legalizing gay marriage. By not accepting gay marriage is discriminating gay people, they should have the same rights as everyone else does. What people don’t understand is it's not a choice to be gay. You don't chose who you love, you just do. You are born gay; you can’t choose to be gay. Using the Bible as a reason is complete nonsense. God created everyone equal. There is a separation between Church and State, one should not clash another. If you're trying to legalize something, you can't use the Bible as an excuse. But if you are, it also says "Judge not lest ye be judged." However they are still judging gays? Why is it fair to treat others wrong because of something they don't have any choice over? I never chose to be straight and honestly why would a gay person choose to have all that hate in their life? If love is legal than why can’t gay marriage be?
Have you ever wonder why the gays exist? Me neither.LGBTQ is a name for people that feel different about their sexual relationship.LGBTQ people should have the same rights as any other human in the world. I support that LGBTQ should be legal, should have the same rights as every other human in the world.
On June 26, 2015, the US Supreme Court ruled that the US Constitution guarantees the right for same-sex couples to marry. Should gay marriages be legal? Clearly we as a nation are undecided on this issue. Thirty-six states have passed legislation banning gay marriages, yet a few states have passed laws that allows homosexual couples the right to participate in civil unions. Several other states are also debating whether or not to allow these couples to marry. Unfortunately, the dispute has left the United States' homosexual community in an awkward position. There are some people who think that gay people have no rights and should never be allowed to marry, and others believe that gay people should enjoy the same rights and privileges as heterosexuals. I think that the United States should allow same-sex couples to marry just like heterosexual couples.
being together is a sin. It 's not right to me that people are with the same sex, but the world see
