“Home is a place where you grow up wanting to leave, and grow old wanting to get back to.” John Ed Pearce There are decent of teenagers who live with their parents, even when they are old enough to make their own decisions. Parents want their teenagers to grow, and face their own responsible; in other hand some parents give up their children, because they (parents) think they don’t have anything to offer their young once. A lot of research showed that millennial generation are more likely to live with their parents. According to Richard Fry, a Senior Research Associate at the Pew Research Center’s Hispanic Trends Project said, “In 2012, 36% of the nation’s young adults ages 18 to 31—the so-called millennial generation—were living in their parents’ home” (Fry). Millennial generation started to live with their parents, because of economic, cultural, and education.

Most of traditionally families believe that education is important for their children future. Parents that didn’t gain any knowledge or attended school when they were young tend to make sure their young children get enough education to brighten their future, which is why most of young adults are living with their parents to get education without worrying about rent, food, and any needs necessary. Those students who enroll college between ages of 18 years and old above are mostly to live with their parents. According to Richard Fry, a Senior Research Associate at the Pew Research Center’s Hispanic Trends Project said “Among 18 to 24 year olds, those enrolled in college were much more likely than those not in college to be living at home – 66% versus 50%.”(Fry) Basically young adults that are pressuring or trying to get knowledge/education live with their parents for the...

...e, because it’s easy that they (millennial) don’t have to worry about life spending or it’s traditional to live under your parents’ roof. About 21.6 million teenagers are living with their parents, and about third of those 21.6 million are college students. (Fry). Young adults who are living in their parents are increasing for the past years, because of financial, traditions/cultural, and education purposes.
