Socially, physically, and emotionally our lives have been altered by technology. In the current time people can’t imagine their life without technology. There is a good and a bad to the technology we have around us. We have various technologies helping people to live their life with more luxury. The good part is that it causes an easier life. The bad it that it is causing us to have less of one on one human contact and everything we do has an electronic base to it. Theonomy Theonomy is a term for the belief that the moral law of God is to be applied as a standard of righteousness for governing individuals and society. The term comes from the Greek for "God's law" and is the concept that all of the moral laws (excluding the non-ceremonial and dietary laws) given to Moses and recorded in the Pentateuch are binding on people of all nations forever. Theonomy posits God's law as the only standard for regulations in every human institution: family, church, and state. Theocracy is the term for a nation ruled by God and God's law.
In the novel, 1984 by George Orwell, Winston Smith, the main character, is in world full of technology. There is a telescreen that watches and hear everything you do. Big Brother posters are everywhere on the street and in building .The police are involved in everything too. Everything you do has to be Big Brothers way, including how you speak. The Party controls what you believe, if someone does something wrong, that person is vaporized or tortured in the Ministry of love, a place with no windows and no darkness. And if everyone knows that that person has been vaporized and the Party says they haven’t been vaporized, you have to believe that they didn’t and if you say otherwise, then you get vaporized as well. The Ministry of Truth writes the newspapers and says what the Party says. The Ministry of Peace focuses on war with Eastasia and Eurasia, they say that they are in war and bomb their own cities and tell the people that they are in war. The Ministry of Plenty looks after economic affairs in Oceania. Everything in Oceania is being watched or listened by Big Brother.
Technology, what is it? It’s usually something new, and better than the old idea. Technology started with cars, stoves, TV, radios, etc. Cars takes somebody from one place to another, faster than walking, running, or biking and one could go places without getting tired. Stoves allowed one to conveniently be able to turn on and off heat to a cooking utensil with less clean up. The biggest contributor to making our lives easier would be computers, which has come a long way since its introduction to the world. Also, computers have the ability to be improved more, and more in time. In general, technology started off by comforting our lives. Now, the rapid growth of technology has replaced the need for one’s own intellect.

Daily life with technology is also another huge issue in society. According to a survey taken in January 2013, people feel their work productivity has dropped 8% in the last year. They also felt that their relationships with their family at home dropped 4% in the past year. The opinions vary, but they are needed to show how technology is affecting different people.
Today’s technology has changed the way we live. It has changed the way that we view the environment, act when out in public, and the way we go about doing our daily task. Computers have greatly increased our capabilities to achieve our goals much faster. Human interaction between people has decreased because of this technology. Once again, not interesting.
