Epidemic among College Students American psychotherapist, author and lecture Wayne Dyer once said, “Procrastination is one of the most common and deadliest of diseases and its toll on success and happiness is heavy.” When one procrastinates, they put things off to be done last minute, which then leads to stress, unhappiness and failure. First thing that students needs to do is develop a schedule simply by listing things that needs to be done. Just planning your daily schedule would really help preventing procrastination. This planner needs to be really detailed with everyday activity. For example if I have to complete my house chore before I can start my homework. Then students will be motivated to complete the task in a timely manner. This will help students perform better not just in school but in everyday life.
