Last year senior Jake Wickstrom had an argument with Andre Brown this year senior about which messwood football team was better. This year Messwood football team or last year Messwood team. Jake and Andre have been having this argument for the whole 2013 football season. It really was an easy pick for me. I thought that 2013 football team was better than the 2012 team. I'm not saying this because I had played for the 2013 team i'm saying this because of the argument that Jake and Andre was having. Andre was pulling out facts after facts while Jake was just saying are stats were way better then you guys this year. Andre was showing how our team was more successfully than last year team. The facts that Andre and Jake was saying why two we had a successfully where, how we won are games, the players we had on the teams, the workout we did and the opponents we played.
2013 football team played as one unit. We played slow and only got a few yards at a time. We just didn't run 50 yards and score a touchdowns. We only ran like 5 yards at a time, because we knew we could have blowout most of the teams we had played., but we wanna to run out the clock so the other team could not get so much time to get the ball to score. This is how most of the good teams in the NFL beat a lot of the they play by having the ball for more than half of the game and this is how the team played this year. But the defence we had this year didn't really let the other team have the ball for a very lot of time. This year team put a lot of teams on a three and out streak.
The 2012 football team really didn't play as one unit like this year team. 2012 team players had one person that score most of the touchdowns. When they scored there touchdowns they w...

The 2012 team was like Simba in the movie Lion King. They were wild and didn't know when to stop. Simba got in a lot of trouble when he went plays were his dad said not to go. The players were Simba and the dads was the couches of the team. The players where crazy and all over the place. When a coach says go this way they would go the other way, and Simba was like that in the movie Lion King.
The facts that Andre and Jake were saying had a successful year was that, we won are games, the players we had on the teams, the workout we did, and the opponents we played. But I think we did better this year than we did last year. Because of the players we had on our team and because of how young they were and what they were capable of doing.
The beginning of a season Will Tyler didn’t have a football team or anything that would make one. He had no players, coach, uniforms or pads. He wanted to change this because he had an uncanny amount of love for the game. First he had found a bunch of people and asked them if they wanted to join. He kept doing this until
The Varsity team lost to the JV team because they did not work together as team. Though the Varsity team consisted of high performing individuals for speed, strength, and endurance but together they lacked the cohesiveness to perform as a single unit. Also among them there were a lot of internal conflicts cropping up like blaming each other, lack of trust and confidence in the ability of others etc., which were not identified, or resolved at appropriate time. Each one did not believe he was working as a part of the team; rather they tried to maximize their individual capabilities alone. In addition the Varsity team lacked a strong leader, mostly people were disruptors.
The team has become united and they continue to win their way through. They even had their own special warm up before the games started. The school also has become more united after the winning streak of the football players.
Coaches are always looking for a better understanding of what makes up a winning team. This knowledge would help them in recruiting athletes that could improve the team’s statistics in the areas we observed. We took the entire statistical breakdown from the 1999-2000 season and were hoping to find any key statistical areas that could be directly related to winning percentage.
Do you like professional football? Have you ever wondered where teams originate from? Or what teams have been around the longest? The Pittsburgh Steelers are a professional team that has an extensive history. There are also many unique details about them that other NFL teams do not have. ...igure out that the game has evolved. The philosophy of football is simple, in that, if something’s wrong then fix it. Penn State has fallen apart and the only way to salvage their football team is to part with Paterno.
...r the hard worked had paid off. They may have not of made it as far as they did if it wasn't for the the harsh motivation and training. They were pushed past limits and that is what made them as great as they are now. Getting up after being hurt either physically or mentally was hard to get over it giving up on their coaches, team, and fans would be harder. The intense sports is what got them to were they are now, it is was what made them who they are. Real intense sports can lead to real success.
Football is a game of adversity and emotion. People who have not played a sport or follow one closely don’t understand the emotion behind game. They think that football is just a game, but for those who are involved with the team don’t think so. All those horrendous hours of countless preparation are for something players and coaches love. About a few years ago, a football player at the collegiate level was told that he wouldn’t be able to play another down of football again due to his banged up h...
To this day, this game haunts me and sometimes I find it hard to sleep at night because I am too busy thinking of what should have been. Looking back, the way to describe the ending to my senior season is disappointment; not only in myself, but in my entire team. Being the only senior it felt like more of betrayal than anything. It felt like my teammates knew they had more than a second chance to redeem themselves so they were not as heartbroken and sympathetic towards the loss and towards

My senior year of football was one to forget. High school sports are supposed to be the best time of our lives. It is a time where you make friends and create a brotherhood with your teammates. Football in particular, the sport that supposedly builds character and family. Of course everyone goes through hardships and has struggles; but overall, it is about building you up and not tearing you down. It seems that my whole football career was full of upsets and hardships. I can barely count on two hands the good times I shared with my teammates. From arguing all the time, to losing every game, to being dismissed from the team and having a young coach who has never played football; my football career was something I would never want to relive.

...tates, they do not even make it past the semi-finals. All of the hard work, effort, and pure love for the game of football does not pay off. According to the boys, their dreams died on that field during senior year. Although the 1988 Permian Panther team did not make it too states, the dream still lives on in each player and past players.
For as long as I can remember football has been a part of my life in some way, shape, or form. When I was first born my grandfather said that I was solid and built to play football. I used to throw the football with my mother when I was a toddler and she always told me that when I tried to tackle her I hit really hard. My first organized football experience was when I was five. I had just moved to Manassas, VA from Washington, D.C. in 1994. It was around fall and that was right at the beginning of football season in the area. I remember telling my mother that I wanted to play, so she looked for a local organization for children. She came across the Greater Manassas Football League (GMFL) and that is where I began to play the game I love.
