By reading from the case study of Mercy Corps and Kebal Healthy Food Carts, there have several business models which were best suitable for the specific business. Both 1984 and The Handmaid’s Tale are dystopian novels, however, these books are a lot more complex than mere portrayals of dystopia, it can be argued that they are explorations of dystopia rather than mere portrayals. In order to explore dystopia, many themes must be considered, such as; feminism, love and repression. Nonetheless, it is apparent that human characteristics are the driving point of the two novels, predominantly, the depiction of human resilience. In an imperfect world, it is important to have certain qualities which, if plentiful, it can mean success, whereas if it lacks, it can mean failure, this characteristic is resilience. The protagonists in each novel, Winston in 1984 and Offred in The Handmaid’s Tale face situations which leave them both in disarray, and both even consider suicide. The authors tentatively highlight human resilience, its limits and most importantly its strengths into the two novels.
Expanded and strengthened state private insurance companies are to be expected since more younger Texans enter the market thanks to the premium support. Texas can expect savings through more proper use of medical care, lower numbers in Medicaid, and savings from increased recipient cost sharing. Texas must refuse to comply with the new high-risk pools. There are many reasons Texas should not comply but the main reason is poor design. Currently, eighteen states have decided not to participate in these pools, Texas is undecided. Any person with a pre-existing medical disorder whom has been without insurance for six month will qualify. The law gave the Department of Health discretion in determining with conditions qualifies. Theoretically, the Department of Health could say the flu is a pre existing medical condition. If Texas does not refuse to comply with these pools it is only a matter of time before the demand will exceed the supply. A huge concern is when the funding is gone what do the state politicians do. I see two options. One, state officials will end the coverage all together and pull the plug. Two, continue to allow the program to run with the use of state tax dollars.
Scott Hightower’s poem “Father” could be very confusing to interpret. Throughout almost the entirety of the poem the speaker tries to define who his father is by comparing him to various things. As the poem begins the reader is provided with the information that the father “was” all of these things this things that he is being compared to. The constant use of the word “was” gets the reader to think ‘how come the speaker’s father is no longer comparable to these things?’ After the speaker reveals that his father is no longer around, he describes how his father impacted him. Details about the father as well as descriptions of the impacts the father has distraught on the speaker are all presented in metaphors. The repetitive pattern concerning the speaker’s father and the constant use of metaphors gives the reader a sense that the speaker possesses an obsessive trait. As the reader tries to interpret the seemingly endless amount of metaphors, sets of connotative image banks begin to develop in the reader’s mind. Major concepts that are expressed throughout the poem are ideas about what the speaker’s father was like, what he meant to the speaker, and how he influenced the speaker.

Business growth general is assumed to be good; bigger is assumed to be better (Hess, 2011), but if the proper planning is not in place it can lead to a business failure. Beginning a business based on something she loved, and needed in her life Susan Feller made the brave decision to build a successful business by baking and selling gluten-free cakes and desserts. After her retirement she focused on her dream and solving her own issue, finding food safe and healthy to eat for those, like herself, with Celiac disease and gluten allergies, but they also had to be delicious. Feller had some tough decisions to make as a small business owner, would she be able to keep up with the demand, how can she grow her business and what if she decided she had had enough and wanted to close the business? These are all decisions any business owner have to face at one point or another.

The reason of discussing this model of decision making process first is because this model is considered the ideal method of making decisions for the organizations. It assumes that individuals usually maximize entrepreneurs, and that the decisions are accomplished by a step-by-step procedure which is both logical and linear. To make a decision according to this model, it is necessary to start from the beginning by collecting all related information . Then, this information has to be analyzed and then all solutions are suggested. These solutions are then analyzed and all of the negative and positive outcomes of each of them are considered according to criteria for comparing these solutions to finish with the best decision.
When an individual decides to venture out on their own and become an entrepreneur they are taking a huge risk, one of the tools that can make the difference between being successful or failing is the Business Model Canvas (BMC). Osterwalder invented the BMC because he believed that a company’s first business plan always failed the minute it reached the customers, leaving the owners discouraged and deflated and feeling that they had wasted time, energy and money; so he wanted to create a more flexible business plan that owners can edit and make the changes needed to reach the customers needs "One Tool Startups Need to Brainstorm, Test and Win | First Round Review," n.d.). The canvas consists of nine elements or building blocks that create a visual template spelling out the business’s value proposition, infrastructure, customers and the finances (White, 2012). Breaking down the key elements that are vital to taking customers needs, wants or problems into a fruitful company

Since I was a young boy, my father has often told me business stories at dinner time. As a result, I gradually grew a keen interest in this field and wanted to realize my dream of being a business man one day. In my first year in high school, I decided to start my first business, and it did not end very well. My home is near the decoration and fashion accessories selling area in Hanoi. Realizing this geographic advantage as a potential business opportunity, I opened a small and simple network with two of my friends. We received requests from other students at my school, bought the thing they ordered, and then delivered it to them. However, things were not as easy as we expected. There were not so many demands, and we hardly made any profit. Eventually, we had to close the business after a few months due to low profits and study pressure. However, not only did this failure not weaken my interest in business, but it also taught me a precious lesson: if I want to make profits, I have to learn the needs of the customers carefully to offer them the best products that cater to their demands. Ever since then, I have been eager to obtain both profound knowledge and practical experience in business.

By definition, there are at least three types of actors involved in disruption, the applicants, the officials and the customers. A business model approach to innovation considers all aspects of innovation processes and business activities for developing or responding to disruptive innovation, as opposed to a technology solution alone.
The Civil Procedure Rules recognised in Wales and England imposes a positive duty on the court to encourage parties to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures if the court considers it appropriate, from the forgoing it could be inferred that achieving unbiased and objective dispute resolution is no longer the exclusive claim of the adversarial legal process as hitherto claimed by liberal societies. In addition, exact practices of adversarial legal system scarcely exist, since the daily life of court now involves routine departures from its original fundamental ideals. Nonetheless, growing evidence depict that mediated outcomes are more likely to be complied with than court decrees contrary to the position of pro adversarial advocates.
The first step in any business is to think of or create a business idea. Without an idea, one cannot launch their business off the ground. A right direction is needed to create a business with a unique idea. However, other options include franchising or buying an existing business (1). Franchising allows an individual to run stores such as Burger King or McDonalds under the corporate name. It involves taking training classes and a heap of money in order to start a franchise. A Franchisee will have to buy products and services from the corporate entity they are franchising from, which is often required. Buying a franchise is like taking a piece of the pie from the company that is franchising and sharing that pie with everybody else. In addition having a franchise allows one to communicate and in essence become a big part of an added business opportunity (4). Franchising is far from easy to start and maintain for that matter. Starting a franchise involves a l...
