Today millions of Americans seem to be awestruck by the zombies that are portrayed in movies and television shows, but what if they weren’t really into zombies like we think they are. Some people believe that we are not obsessed with zombies. They believe that we are obsessed with the people who are living in the shows and what they happen to be surviving is a zombie apocalypse. These people have some logic behind their argument and it’s easy to understand it. Firstly, people love to see other people on television or in movies in distressing situations. They get to see the fear, not of zombies, but of surviving without what they are accustomed to. The biggest argument is that people are connecting with the characters of the show and what they are being put up against whether it be zombies, vampires, or other creatures of the kind. This is proven by The Walking Dead and the Twilight series. As humans we are constantly intrigued by people who are living in tough situations. The people that we are so interested in in The Walking Dead are simply surviving in a zombie apocalypse.
