Introduction- My topic is the zodiac killer. He was originated when he killed 5 people and injured 2, though he said he killed 34 people. He looks like a normal person with glasses and short hair. He is famous for killing people and once he kills them he sends a letter to the newspaper or police. It remains a mystery because he was so hard to catch and he was never seen or heard from again after 1974. Topic 1- This Is a theory about the zodiac killer. Gary Stewart published a book where he claimed his dad was the zodiac killer. In the book there is a picture of his dad and it looks just the guy in the police sketch of the zodiac killer. He also shows a picture of his hand and it has the same scar as the finger print collected on a taxi which was the zodiac killers finger print. Publicist …show more content…
He wore a zodiac watch which some think is where the killer got his name, it also had the same symbol on the bottom of the watch that the zodiac killer used in his letters. Police found the same typewriter used to write the letters in the back of Allen’s truck. People have theorized that he had an accomplice that did the writing and Allen did the killing. Allen also made some claims to his friend, “I am the zodiac”, “I will kill couples at random”, and “I will wear make up to change my appearance”. No probably not real because the DNA test didn’t match but he still might have had a second person do the killing. Conclusion – That is a few theories about the zodiac killer. The reason this matters is because he was a famous killer who was never caught and he taunted police. If we found out his identity, it would make people stop making fake theories about who he was and it would be good for the families of the victims. Yes, I think it will get solved in the future but it will be too late because he is already dead or will be dead. What theory do you think is the most likely to be
I would like to try and discuss theories and ideas about the Zodiac Killer (1966-1978, 1966 is when the killings started and his letters sent, 1978 was when his letters stopped but the killings unsure about if they stopped). What I have found out is that he killed about 37 or 40 people (he claims to have killed). The Zodiac sent letters to the chief of the SFPD or the News, threatening to kill someone or many people. The Zodiac wrote on some of his letters of how he killed some of his past victims, it explained what he used to kill his victims, to how he used his tools. Some of the letters the Zodiac sent were in ciphers or encrypted; one letter was thought to uncover the name of the Zodiac, but the letter was never cracked. Moving to his victims.
Each person in this room will walk past a serial killer 36 times in your lifetime.
The Zodiac Killer is an unidentified man who is presumed to be a serial killer that operated in Northern California in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Murdering at least five people, but the Zodiac claims to have killed upwards of 37 people in total. In 1969 the Zodiac Killer began sending letters to the Bay Area newspapers, taking credit for the five killings and threatening further violence. The Zodiac Killer would call and send cryptic letters to the law enforcement agencies in Northern California, taunting them since they were unable to bring him to justice. The police had suspects but none that they could ever charge for the murders, due to lack of evidence, so this mystery still remains unsolved. The cultural impact that the Zodiac Killer has had on tv, movies and the media is still around today and has had many shows and movies remade after what this killer did. The cultural impact as well as for the families of the victims still remains today with still no closure, for those families who live in Northern California still there is the fear that crosses the minds on how such an awful criminal was once a part of their society, someone they may

The killer has to be Bruce Davis. First off, he lived by Lake Tahoe where A girl went missing. After the disappearance, he moved away. Now people could say this happens to be just a coincidence but let this prove it more. When he moved away he moved again. This time in California where he spent most of his time at Newport Beach. A girl named Cheri Jo Bates favorite place to go just so happened to be Newport beach. She went very frequently. the final reason will be he worked at Riverside college during renovations from 1965 to 1967. In this time, the girl Cherri Jo Bates got murdered at riverside college. Bruce had also gone off the grid a year earlier. Now with the evidence, everyone will agree with the facts. Bruce Davis has to be the zodiac
My body was found on May 21, 1970. Police thought my murder had the same pattern as the other Zodiac murders. Her body was found near a body of
The most resent developments to the Zodiac case have taken place on the East Coast. In 1998, a string of murders occurred in the New York metro area by someone claiming to be the Zodiac. Though police have assumed that this is a copycat case, it has not been ruled out that the Zodiac may once again be on the move. Bibliography Graysmith, Robert Zodiac.
The mysterious person did not have a real name because no one was able to identify him. The murder gave his a name which was the Zodiac Killer. The Zodiac Killer was responsible for five murders in California during the late 1960s. The Zodiac Killers first two murders was on December of 1968 in Benicia, California. David Farraday, who was 17, and Betty Lou Jensen, who was 16, were the first two of a series of murders by the Zodiac Killer. The two of them were inside a parked, when the Zodiac Killer came up behind them and shot them. A similar case happened to the next victim of the mysterious killer. The following year, on July 4, 1969, another couple were shot dead in their car, in Blue Rock Springs Park in Vallejo, California. 22 year old Darlene Ferrin was shot dead, but Michael Mageau, who was 19 years old survived the shots. The strange thing after these murders is that the police received a phone call from an unidentified person that confessed to murdering those people. The next killings occurred two months later, on September 27, 1969. Two couples were also in a parked car in Lake Berryessa in Napa County. Cecelia Shepard and Brian Hartnell were shot at by the killer, but Brian Hartnell, who was 20 years old survived the mu...
A serial killer is traditional defined as the separate killings of three or more people by an individual over a certain period of time, usually with breaks between the murders. (Angela Pilson, p. 2, 2011) This definition has been accepted by both the police and academics and therefore provides a useful frame of reference (Kevin Haggerty, p.1, 2009). The paper will seek to provide the readers with an explanation of how serial killers came to be and how they are portrayed in the media.
Ted Bundy was one of the most vicious serial killers in American history. He confessed to 28 grotesque murders in the 1970’s but the actual number of his victims remains
But maybe he died, which could explain the end of his communication with California. In the end, he claimed to have killed at least 37 people. People thought Zodiac was unintelligent, but that perception was obviously wrong because he had training in the following areas: explosives, cryptography, astrology, chemistry and guns. He also knew how to prevent leaving fingerprints on crime scenes; he could have learned that from jail. He knew he was clever, and it made him happy to know that the police seemed to be running in circles.
In 2014, Gary Stewart published the book ‘The Most Dangerous Animal of All’, which he claimed that his father, Earl Van Best, was the Zodiac killer. The police’s evidence on that was the compared resemblance between Mr. Best and the police sketch they had of the so-called Zodiac killer. Also, they claimed that his father’s name appeared in the Zodiac’s cryptograms, and has a scar on his right index finger as would the Zodiac if they would have caught him from a previous crime. Another reason people thought it was Best was that a publicist, Chris Harris had claimed to had seen Mr. Best at a diner near the area of one of the killings. When Harris went into the diner he sat next to a man who resembled best. He also claimed Best turned to him and said: “You have no idea what it’s like to have to kill”. Randy Kenney claimed that it was his friend Louis Myers. He claimed he killed couples because he suffered from romantic rejection. Randy told police officers that Myers went to highschool with two of the victims and worked with one of
I choose this topic because I believe it is important to know why serial killers have been around for hundreds of years. If there were more studies on them then I believe we may be more able to prevent their vicious killings. If there are several things in common between several different serial killers then it would be safe to say that those things can be predictors of what is to come. If for example, I researched all of the serial killers in the last twenty years and they were all beaten as children and had alcoholic parents, then it would seem that beating children and having alcoholic parents is certainly a common factor and may predict their future. So in my paper I will come up with a detailed profile and common themes between the serial killers in the last twenty years.
...nd most stunningly, the NSA deciphered cryptographs that contained his name; all pointing to him as the most likely, and the most probable culprit. The Zodiac was one of the most cold and calculating murderers of the twentieth century. His gruesome and violent ways of killing, along with the coinciding of his murders with moon phases, star appearances, radians, and the astrological chart, among other things, also make him the most terrifying murderer of the twentieth century. The scariest thing of all is that this maniac was never caught, and if not dead, is still living somewhere, potentially threatening the lives of the peaceful people around him.
What happened: Well this event starts off when Tasha is her third period class then out of nowhere she hears a knock on the classroom door her teacher opens it and standing right there is Tasha’s father standing in the doorway.
