Young People Should Be Deported

For years, thousands of illegal immigrants have come to this country along with their children. In 2012 the Obama administration pushed forward the American immigration policy. Which allowed individuals who entered the country illegally as a minor to receive a two-year work permit. In 2007 there were approximately 800,000 individuals who are enrolled in the dreamer’s program. Now President Trump is trying to get rid of the dream act which protect the children and there and their family from being deported. President Trump should not get rid of the dreamer’s program.
The young adults who are covered under the dreamer’s act are people who also take care of us when we are sick. If we were to deport the physicians and nurses we would lose a major …show more content…

It could cripple the economy because most of the children and young adults who are protected under this policy are college graduates who have student loans or they are young adults who have taken out loans in general. If they were to get deported, how would the government get their student loans back and how would the banks get their loans back, the debit of those young adults would take away a big chunk of the economy due to not being able to find them once they are deported. They are also a big number of our workforce. If we were to send away half of our workforce, we wouldn’t have enough people to work the restaurants, stores and run the businesses that we love so much. Considering the loans that these young adults have racked up and how much they contribute to the workforce it could initially make Americas economy more broke than it already is. If they are contributing to the economy, it would be in the best interest of our country to let them continue to contribute.
A different view would be that if we continue to let immigrants come over illegally without going threw the proper channels then America is sending a message to immigrants everywhere that there is away around are immigration laws and if they see that there is a way around one law they might think there is away around others. A counter message would be that The United States was built on immigrants and we pride ourselves on being a nation that is free and excepting of immigrants who are longing to be
