You Need To Go Upstairs Short Story

All people are faced with challenges in everyday life. Some are temporary and some are permanent, yet no matter how hard you should always persevere.
You Need to go Upstairs is a short story about a girl named Alice who needs to go upstairs to use the bathroom. The only problem is she is blind. The story starts out outside in the garden with Alice in her mother, a few paragraphs later a visitor comes who we never found out the identity of. Alice announces she needs to go up stairs and that she will do it alone, the visitor is worried but Alice is determined to show she can do it. Alice stands gets up and starts her way to the house. This seems like a normal, easy task to another person but to Alce this is a scary, new thing to do. Despite being blind Alice does make it upstair with almost no help at all.

People go through challenges all the time, and when going through a challenge it is easy to give up especially when all odds are against you, this story is a perfect example of a time where someone could and very easily would give up, yet they didn't and that is a great example of perseverance. Some challenges are much larger than the one in this story and much harder to get through, many people have much trouble persevering and it is not the easiest thing. Alice is a great example of how hard it can be to persevere. Many times in the story she wanted to call out for help, but she didn't let herself. At one point she fell down, but she got up and kept going without help.Another reason persevering can be hard is because sometimes you need to take risks.Taking risks can be very hard and
