During the mid 18th century through the 19th century England started the Industrial Revolution. At the end of the industrial revolution there were more advantages than disadvantages, because the industrial revolution had to had cynical altercation in order for an increase in positive results. For example, the way goods were now manufacture. The goods were no longer produced in the household but in factories. England’s society had grown from agricultural to an industry dependent on manufacturing. Since the replacement of manual labor to manufacturing,the transformation of productivity and technical efficiency grew.For example, discipline managers would whip their workers if a task was not complete in the right format. The industrial revolution made people migrate from rural areas into urban communities in search of work which led to the expansion of cities.

During this time period there was also a drastic growth of cities, employment of skilled and unskilled workers, the role of children, and the change of laws. Children jobs were now changing from working on the farm to working in the factories. The reason was because there was disparity amongst the classes, the rich and the poor. While the rich own companies they were exploiting the poor. People started working as young as the age of 6. The average work day was 14-16 hours a day. Living conditions were horrible for the working class. If the factories lack of safety didn’t kill the working class than the living conditions did. There were no health sanitation laws that protect the working class so most of them died from diseases that could have been preventable.

The government implemented working regulations which improved the working class lives and they no longer had to fall victim less to being exploited to harsh labors without the benefits of safety. Living conditions grew better. Sanitation laws were made and the health of the working class stabilize. All these benefits came to be because of the industrial revolution. Yes there were a few drawbacks but there were only temporary that needed to be done to increase the country’s economy. The use of factories made production easier and faster because it made mass production cheaper. Although it first created a laissez faire capitalism society. The government later steps in at the end and creates a socialism capitalist society which improved working conditions (documents 4, 6, 7, 8), child labor (1, 2, 3, 9), and living conditions (5, 10, 11).
