Wylie High School Volleyball Team (08/12-12/14), 25 hours per week during volleyball season, 15 hours per week during off-season, total hours: 1,040. I earned the 9th Grade Sportsmanship Award and the Sports Award for being a positive player and for helping at a camp we hosted.

Wylie High School Musicals:
Penny Pingleton in Hairspray (09/12-02/13), Rehearsal hours: 15 hours per week, total hours: 400. An accomplishment we earned for our hard work and outstanding show was being nominated for Best Musical by Dallas Summer Musicals.
Fiona in Shrek the Musical (09/15-02/16), Rehearsal Hours: 15 hours per week, total hours: 500.

I earned Outstanding Soloist two years in a row, and as a choir we earned Sweepstakes (the highest ranking in all areas) at UIL.
Wylie High School Theatre (05/15-present), Rehearsal hours: 15 hours per week during shows, 5 hours per week when we don't have a show coming up. Total hours: 500. I had never been in a theatre class until this year and I made the highest theatre class, Mainstage.

National Honor Society (08/15-present), 4-8 hours per month, total hours: 45 hours. I was elected to be the Treasurer for next year by my peers.
Principal's Advisory Committee (08/13-present), 8 hours per school year, total hours: 24 hours.
Student Council (08/13-present), 2-8 hours per week, total hours: 350. I was elected Sophomore Historian, Junior Vice-President and next year I will be Student Body President. I earned the Service Award for my participation in this club.
Student Bible Study (08/14-present), 2 hours per week, total hours: 50 hours. A few friends and I created this club to bring the light of Christ to the school and to give students a chance to come closer to God. I became a part of the leadership team so that I could help our Bible Study have more success and to impact more

    The National Honor Society is based off of four pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. School is an extremely important part of anyone’s life, and I feel blessed that I have had the opportunity to attend Lutheran schools from Kindergarten until the present. Our Shepherd Lutheran and Lutheran High Northwest have helped me to grow in my faith and to continue to grow academically as well. Attending these schools has also allowed me to participate in many different extra-curricular activities such as Varsity Soccer in my freshman year, Varsity Track my sophomore year, Pit Band for school musicals, Jazz band, and Pep band. This 2009-2010 school year I also have the opportunity to be the First Chair Flute and Piccolo in regular Concert Band and the other band functions which will provide me with an opportunity to gain experience in leadership which will help me in college and in my future career. Service is an important activity to participate in. During the past two years I have helped my mom and the rest of the committee at my church with funeral luncheons. When there is a funeral at my church the family of the deceased has the option of having a luncheon at the church, and if they choose, following the funeral, the committee that my mom is on takes care of getting the food that the family wants, serving the food, and then cleaning up after the luncheon is over. When they need help I also go and help out. Also, my family recently became a Foster family for the Michigan Humane Society. In November of this year, I am going on a mission trip to Madrid, Spain, with my cousin, who is a pastor, and a group from his church, Valley Springs, in Roseville, California. Our main aim is going to be talking to the college students there and trying to plant churches. We are going to be helping them work on their English, and I will get to use my Spanish. I have also had the opportunity to work in the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer nursery which was my first paying job. Every Sunday morning I am in the nursery from 9 until 12, or later if needed, watching peoples children up to four years of age while they attend church.

    After that, I looked for people who had similar interests as myself. The first organization I felt connected to was called Alpha Lambda Delta which was an honor society for first year students with a 3.5 GPA or higher. After the first meeting I was hooked, and began participating in social events and volunteer events. During induction I was chosen as the new 2016-2017 service officer. Volunteering is one of my passions and I couldn’t wait to spread it to other incoming freshmen, and make sure that they didn’t feel the way I felt during my first semester.
