“I hope you have a plan genius!”, Heidi growled over her shoulder, her guns still aimed towards the enemy's chest. The military had the two surrounded, and Heidi had a rapidly growing resentment for Wyatt for getting her into the mess to begin with. “I'm thinking.”, Wyatt snapped in response, his blue eyes looking around frantically. “Lower the guns!”, Harrison barked towards the two rebellious teens, pulling out a gun of his own. Heidi offered him a hard glare in response, her brown eyes blazing as her heart rate shot through the roof. “Any time now, Wyatt. . . .”, she said, not breaking the glare she held towards the Agent. “I do have a plan.”, Wyatt whispered under his breath, “And I can tell you, you won't like it.” Then Wyatt, unexpectedly,

Although I grew up with both my parents, my dad was working a 12 hour shift, so he could provide for all his children. Even though I had the love of both my parents, I chose to hang out with my neighbors most of the day. The neighborhood I lived in was full of drugs, violence, and money. I wasn’t really into the violence part. My dad was working all day just so we could have the things we required. I didn’t want to waist our family’s money so I would never ask my Mom or Dad for any. I started hustling anything I had or could get my hands on. It was a bad decision but at the time I wasn’t thinking about the consequences. I was just trying to get my hands on a lot of money. I started robbing places and people, and ended up getting arrested a couple times. Before I started to realize that in the long run, it would turn out for the worst. The first time I got arrested, I didn’t even care. I just wanted to get done with the process of everything, and get back to what I was doing. My mind was set to think “Damn how could you make a silly mistake, and get caught like that.” My mother was totally shocked when she found out that I was getting into trouble, because I hadn’t gotten any complains from school for bad behavior, or bad grades, and I had never let my mom know that I was doing all these useless stuff. Ultimately I got sent to boarding school and now have completely switched up my life. My environment was having a big affect on my life. I learned from my mistakes and I am making a better future for myself. I don’t regret much because, I have gained so much knowledge from the wrong things I did in my life. The author Wes Moore had a change of environment and influences and turned out in a different situation, than the other Wes moor...
The novel ‘Jasper Jones’ written by Craig Silvey and the film ‘Dressmaker’ directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse have connected to the audience in very similar ways. The main ways that they have done this is through plot, characteristics and setting. By looking into each of these conventions it will widen the knowledge and have deeper in-depth on how authors and directors use them.
“Time’s up! Let me see…” Pacing back and forth with a pressed finger against her lip, she stopped in front of the unlucky first victim. “We’ll start with you, Mr. Evans.”
“You can't help her, now go!” he says, from the hate that is running through his veins, his facial features are become significantly distorted. Focused on the oncoming Germans, he shouts
Although storytelling can be seen as a form of creative writing, the novel Atonement by Ian McEwan and the short story “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” by Washington Irvin both suggest that storytelling serves as a means for exaggerating actual events. This is significant because the partially deceitful elements tend to mold the reader’s judgment of what really happens.
“They set a bomb off in the base,” she explained looking terrified. “Then they raided it and made sure that not a single one of us had escaped. I was lucky not to be there when it happened. I am even more lucky that they didn’t hunt me down.” She tipped the motorcycle over and hid it with some brush. “Follow me,” she demanded.
The temptress Jones had sent hadn’t worked and the blood Clement had provided was just enough to put Underhill in the right state of mind. With a clear train of thought Neyvan decided they would leave the next morning, before the sun could rise. He had set up bear traps around the tree line where Jones would normally survey him and he had disguised them well. Everything was in order, the carriage held all of their belongings besides clothes to hold them over until they left. He had booked his schedule for patients, to not raise any suspicions.
“I’ma shoot that sonofabitch even if it’s the last thing I do!” Carlson’s loud booming voice was also head.
Although, people might say out of emotions that their feelings are so intense that they cannot be expressed in words. Because of the same emotion, people may say that love cannot be described by words. It is evident that the language has proved to be sufficient enough to not only analyze, dissect or explain the feelings of love from so many angles, but also the chemical reactions happening in the body when somebody is in love. Subversions of conventions of love is not the matter of insufficiency of language but a matter of how a poet experiences love or how a poet chooses to express those experiences.
"I have a plan," he whispered. I held my groan. "Kayden will break up with Janine when he sees how she cares about the competition more than him!"
“The Direct plan is to hit back with sever sobbotage, and if that is not enough we will hit back with all our power to set the black man free.” Tau made a big fist when he said this.
“Yeah. She’s like- a retard!” again, they looked like hyenas, laughing their heads off as they walked away leaving me totally confused. I didn’t think there was anything wrong with Dani, but there was a large part of me that just had to listen to the big kids because they were always right.
"Drop your bags and your phone now!" The man suddenly pointed his gun at a woman still dispersed in the queue, attracting my eyes back to her face. Carefu...
