ESSAY ON -WOULD YOU WANT TO LIVE FOREVER ?
Would you want to live forever ? My position on this topic is equal upon yes and on no. This question has puzzled me and many others. Many things affect me, and make me think that I would, however some point towards the rejection of this statement. Throughout the years, the eye of the public and the eye of god have witnessed many happenings and events. From the dawn of man, to Martin Luther King, from the discovery of fire to the discovery of nuclear energy. As the world turns, mother nature takes its course and plays a vital role in the construction of new generations.
Facts and ideas get passed along from one generation to another, so if one was to live forever they would be able to witness everything. From discoveries, to inventions, serial killers to world leaders and watch their family grow through the ages and eventually die.
What are the benefits of living forever ? Besides watching human life and the universe evolve, the person can personally see the change of the world, its development and the swaying of attitudes among all. The future holds answers that can only be answered by time, but every being has his or her time, the time to die, and that time will arrive eventually. But imagine outliving all, the possibilities are uncanny.
This wonder, fantasy is the same concept of Peter Pan and Never Never
Land. To never age and grow old, to see loved ones go by, friends and family. Since the possibilities of what one can do are limitless, then this state of living forever is a sort of never ending role playing game, and every kid living on this earth, with a limited lifespan knows that sooner or later you will get bored of the game and want to call it quits.
But, how will one call quits to a life, a life which in theory would seem to become boring after experiencing everything this world has to offe!
r. Wouldn’t that be the greatest thing about living forever ? That your enjoyments of sports, foods, friends, and loved ones would be renewable.
That when one thing goes another thing arrives.
Have you ever experienced death ? Obviously not personal but in the family or of someone close to you. It’s hard to let go, and hard to put your thoughts and feelings about that person behind you. People will tell you to go on with your life, and that it’s all a part of life, living

Indeed, no person can live forever because our bodies are mortal. Therefore, everyone should seize the chance given in the few years on earth to accomplish his or her desires. Historically, no human has lived past 130 years, except the narrations in the Bible or other religious books. Accordingly, this demonstrates the limited life that humans have, which is prone to a premature end due to diseases, accidents, and calamities. For this reason, the uncertainty of the human life makes it necessary for the people to live each day as their last on earth so that they can strive to perfect the desires, duties, and responsibilities bestowed on them. Furthermore, the completion of the tasks should not be a routine but rather a passion for creating a better environment for the success of
This paper will look at the different conceptions highlighted by Bulman in his article through the use of different methods used by the actors in the play. Twelfth Night, by William Shakespeare captures the different conceptions of gender identity and different sexualities within the Elizabethan period.
For my final project I chose to compare two works of art from ancient Mesopotamia. A visual work of art and a literary one. The visual work of art I chose was the Statuettes of Worshipers which were created around 2900 to 2350 BCE at the Square Temple at Eshnunna, a city in ancient Mesopotamia. The literary artwork I have chosen is the Epic of Gilgamesh written roughly around 2800 BCE by author or authors unknown. It was set in Uruk, another city in ancient Mesopotamia. Both of these works of art share a common theme; the theme of immortality. It is my hopes that within this paper I can accurately show how each of these works of art express this theme, and how it relates to modern society.
The early and high Italian renaissance art differed tremendously from Northern European art. The main component of Italian artwork during the “rebirth” era was religion. Artists outside of Italy mainly focused on the everyday life and were popular because of technological advances. Political instability introduced powerful families and city-states that commissioned various artworks. A grand interest in humanism provided wonderful details in both sculptures and paintings. The only difference between Italian and Netherlands artwork seem to be the focus on religion. As public opinion was starting to get its deserved attention in the late sixteenth century, focus was now more on the everyday life, rather than depictions of narratives from The Old and New Testament.
In “Standardized testing undermines teaching,” the author, Diane Ravitch, reviewed a book she authored, The death and life of the great American school system: how testing and choice are undermining education. This review highlights various cons of Standardized testing on the students and educators. She states that standardized testing and the use of incentives to motivate students and educators have failed to meet the set goals. Although the author was at the forefront of advocating for this system, she is now opposed to it and sceptical of the use of incentives to motivate teachers. She also reviews the role of charter schools in perpetuating classism. She states that standard tests and the use of...
As we age, we become more prone to a wide array of diseases, such as cancer and heart disease and treating these diseases most definitely helps us live longer but they do not seem to halt the natural aging process that eventually causes our bodies to weaken and wither away. New research suggests that, like several biological processes, the aging process could also be controlled and this could lead us to live much longer lives. However, commoners and bioethicists alike are often concerned about the bioethical issues pertaining to the life extension phenomena. They argue that the quality of life may be compromised in exchange for longevity and this may be due to intervention in the
The only way in which characters like Creon, Bush, Blair and so on can really make themselves immortal for the right reasons is by asking themselves what’s going to work best for all of us, instead of what’s going to work best for me.

With a college education, one of the benefits college graduates earn is more money. College graduates have a much higher earning potential than individuals with no college education. A college education could actually earn you a million dollars over your lifetime. In the article it states, “On average, college graduates earn 1.5 time that of adults with high-school diplomas” (Andreas Schleicher). This demonstrates that by earning a college degree, you will earn a lot more money than people who stop their education at high school. As a college graduate, you earn far more over your working lifetime than non-college graduates. The more education you get, the more likely it is for you to always have a job. There are numerous other benefits associated with graduating from college. The benefits of going to college her in the U.S. are valuable than other countries. As a college student, the effects of a college degree will likely affect you and future generations. In the article it states, “While a degree is still a good investment in other countries, nowhere are the benefits quite as good as in the U.S” (Andreas Schleicher). This demonstrates that here in the U.S., there are plenty of benefits of having a college degree. With a college degree, you will have a higher lifetime earnings, you will have
The desire for everlasting life or immortality has been the first and the oldest quest of mankind. At the beginning of time, man was designed to live forever. When God created Adam, he created him to dwell on the earth and to fill it with his offspring’s. At no time was he told that this was a temporary arrangement. He was to live forever unless he ate from one certain tree. If he ate from that tree, then he would die. We are then left with several questions, if he had not eaten from that tree, would he still be alive? If he was meant to live forever, was that desire instilled in him? And as his descendants, was the desire to live forever instilled in each of us as well?
Is aging inevitability or a disease? Is death the ultimate tragedy or necessary to give life a meaning? If we could live forever, should we want to? If much longer lives are within technological reach, is it our duty to do everything possible to achieve radical life extension, or is it instead our duty to reconcile ourselves to finitude?

Call of duty provides a unique experience of playing as an American, and Soviet soldiers with each of the country’s weapons, vehicles, and fights tactics. Once you are inside the game, it’s kind of hard to stop playing. Many people stay up all night playing online with their group or clans trying to rank up while other usually play solo practicing trying to get better or just playing for fun. It’s a competitive game and sometimes, you can get frustrated a lot because you will get killed, internet connection is bad, or you probably just don’t really know how to play at all. When I first started playing, I wasn’t all that good, but now that I played for so long, it’s easy to just walk around shooting any enemy I see. Call of Duty has many different options to where you choose what you want to wear, what type of gun you would like to use and features to put on your gun, and what maps you would like to play at. It also gives you choices to back out of a game, usually because you are losing or want a different team, or becaus...
