The best way to increase your brain's dopamine production is exercise. Think of exercise as “movement”. When we think of exercise or working out, we often picture ourselves red-faced, out of breath, and dripping sweat on the floor. It doesn't have to be like this, though. Instead, focus on moving more throughout your day and increase the amount of movement and have a goal for the workout. I believe that exercise is important and everyone should participate in trying to improve their health.
The region of Maghreb, situated along the north-west African coast, has been an Arab-dominated area for more than a thousand years. Today’s Maghreb consists of five countries: Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, and Tunisia. Most of the indigenous population regard themselves as Arabs, though there are also many non-Arabs, too. Those include the Berbers, who also regard the Maghreb as their homeland. The region’s language is predominantly Arabic, but to better facilitate international trade and business activities, major languages such as English French, and Italian are also spoken in some Maghreb countries. Not only will it wake you up and get you energized for the day, but it can also improve the length and quality of your sleep. Doing this will help my health in the long run and also in the short run. One way that it will help in the short run will be that it will improve my mood “because when you exercise, you’re actually subjecting yourself to a low-level form of stress by raising your heart rate and triggering a burst of hormonal changes (Stryker, pg. 1).” Monitoring stress is a very high incentive, especially for college students who are stressed almost all the time due to the immense pressure placed on them during the academic school year. When it comes to exercise, many people tend to over exercise on the first day of working out. This causes the muscles to become sore and painful, which leads to a delay in the work out for the next day or two. This can also causes them to over eat due to the work out being so extreme. By getting your timing and food selection in sync with your activity you can maximize your energy throughout the day. A person that is physically well gets enough sleep, eats a well-balanced diet, and has a positive out-look on life.
