It may seem an anomaly for someone who had been on five cruises and had earned 4-star mariner status, but had not dedicated a page about cruising in her blog. To be honest, I’m not fond of cruising. I find the activities inside the ship boring like the shows and gala nights, and not excited about the buffet or the chef’s signature dishes, probably prepared with ingredients from the ship headquarters’ warehouse. We continued to walk to see some more notable structures built from the 13th-14th century like the St. George’s Church that escaped damaged during World War II, the church of St. Nicholas that’s still undergoing reconstruction. The high tower church of St. Mary’s Church, a remainder of the original Brick Gothic building, dominated the city’s skyline. Our walking tour ended at another historical site: Brauhaus am Lohberg , more than century old beer house. Perhaps, it was the highlight of the walking tour for some people in the group.
