I disagree because they shouldn't aloof us in any way . They should just leave us together .
There are a lot of disadvantages if they don't leave us together.
One of the disadvantages are they are separating us from all of our friends. They should just leave us in the same campus where we are still going to talk to them . so i don't see why they want to separate us . another example is what is you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend you're not going to be able to see them as much as you used to see them only after school .
Why is the school district going to spend more money to just build a new campus for we can be separated i think they should just save the money they can just leave us alone in the same campus instead of changing us into

What are you going to be missing if you decide to commute rather than living on campus? Many people consider college to be an unforgettable experience that will only happen once. College offers unique experiences such as football games, parties, and concerts that many will not be able to participate in after their college years. Living on campus also allows you to access the school’s library and labs to help you finish your work quicker. It also allows you to be more in touch with your professors and classmates for any questions you may have. The freedom and experience gained from college will also help you take your first step in adulthood. If you live on campus you start to make your own decisions and payments that your parents used to make for you. However, many students are not ready to live on their own and make those decisions. They quickly become homesick and their grades fail because they are too occupied with things that they are used to their parents doing. Many times kids who live on campus began losing touch with their siblings and parents because they only come home on major holidays like Christmas or Thanksgiving. It all depends on the person, if you are ready to take on a bigger responsibility or continue to have your parents do the adult things until you have
There was a lot of talk in the community of Bethel-Tate this year on where the schools money goes, this chatter was a result from the fall sports because parents were upset because they thought that some teams got more money than others. Some of these parents are most likely still skeptical on what happens with the money and do not want to give up more because they think that the same thing will happen with the sports teams again. Most parents do not want to give up their hard earned money to a school if they are not sure it will benefit their child or not. With the school not telling these people where their money is going, they have no reason not to vote
Do you consider yourself an outsider? Or do you consider yourself as a normal person? Outsiders are very important because they have different views on different things, they invent different thing, and if they didn’t exist than the world would be boring.
One important reason to redesign school is that students will have a more positive attitude towards school. There is only so much that the US can spend on school. If they don't spend it efficiently, students won't be taught properly and, they will be wasting their time at school. This means that the younger generation won't be educated enough to properly run our country in the future, or that they will even be here to continue to run the US. If we don't start making good use of the school budget and re designing it, then, we will have less of a “land of the free” than a country full of young innovative people. Students may only be 20% of our population, but they are 100% of our future.
...then they can stay after school in order to avoid the insecure situation at home and take their focus off the situation by being involved in activities that they truly love to do. Because students in extracurricular activities have this increased social well-being and protection from risky environments, they are much less likely suffer from depression, and they would have increased mental health overall. In these ways, having mandated extracurricular activities benefit the students’ social and mental health.
Before understanding the consequences of a gap year, it is important to understand why people take a Gap Year. Senior year can be tense and come with several unanswered questions. Seniors are given four options when leaving High School. Those choices are either joining the army, going straight to work, applying to college, or taking a Gap Year. In a journal by Sunny Niu and Marta Tienda, “Delayed Enrollment and College Plans: Is There a Postponement Penalty?” explains some of the reasons why high school graduates tend to not go directly to a four year university. One of the main reasons high school graduates are hesitant to attend co...
This can be an outstanding benefit because you will be able to network with these people throughout your professional career. You will obtain lifelong friends, and this isn 't to say that you won’t gain friends in high school as well; however you won’t utilize the people you meet in high school in as much of a professional way as you would the people you meet in college. Franek says it best in his article “How College Education Contributes to Long-Term Success in Life.” by saying, “The friends you make, the clubs you join, even that randomly-assigned freshman roommate, can all form the backbone of the social and professional network that you will utilize for the rest of your
Separation in schooling first accord in 1852 when the first private school was established. In today’s school system attending a private school is statistically more beneficial than attending a public school. In some states, a private school can receive some state funding. However, for the sole purpose of this argument, I will refer to private schools as schools that get their funding from sources outside of the government and will determine public schools as schools that receive funding solely from the government. Private schools should be abolished because they do not allow equal opportunities for students and the education provided is not equal.
At a high school, there are many things to offer such as auditoriums, lunch rooms, computer labs and science labs. Along with these things sports are offered too, among those sports are basketball, soccer, baseball, football and various running sports. While students benefit from these extracurricular activities there are rules to be obeyed such as the school dress code and cell phones are not permitted during school hours. While in college it is a little different, you get treated like an adult and you have a bit more freedom. College students take advantage of this freedom of roaming and exploring the campus. For example, college kids can freely take out their cellphone without it being taken up at any given point in the class. “In high school, your day is typically planned for you, including where and when your classes meet and what time you eat lunch. College gives you significantly more freedom in building your schedule and choosing how to spend your time” (Kori Morgan). Along with extensive freedom offered at the college level there are other things offered as well, like sports fields, theatres and concert halls most of those things are unheard of in high school. Whether college kids are in class they could easily be hitting the books hard in libraries or just relaxing in the campus café. The choices are endless in
“So many classrooms and so many teachers will likely be cut that an average of 60 pupils will be crammed into each high school class, the sc...
Students living on campus don’t have to worry about time because they live in the college. On the other hand, students who commute to school, have to worry about getting to class on time. Students living on campus don’t have to waste money on transportation or food since it is all covered under a plan. Unlike commuters, who aren’t covered under a plan, they have to pay more money to get to school as well as for food. Students who live on campus tend to know more people and they know more about what’s going on around campus. However, students, who commute, don’t have that advantage because they are home most of the time. Living on campus can be more beneficial than living at home in many ways.
Something that is similar to high school in college is homework. In college, we are given homework every day, but we are given have two days to work on the homework that we have. The homework can be extensive but it is most of the work that we do for the class that is graded. Being able to choose classes in college is a huge difference, however. When I first started signing up for classes for this semester I had a more extensive selection to choose from. College classes focus more on the student 's future career and give more options in classes. Even though the classes are longer, we have more free time outside of school. In college, you are treated like an adult and are given more freedom. For instance, if you haven 't turned in an assignment the teacher isn 't going to keep asking you about it and giving you chances to turn it in. If you don 't have the assignment by the time that you should then it becomes a zero in the system. With so much free time the teachers just have to trust that you will get your work done. But freedom is also a good thing because being able to go home and unwind is important. For me having free time is important because I like having time to myself and relaxing. With freedom comes responsibility, and if you can 't handle the responsibility then you will
An opposition brought up about students taking a gap year after high school is that they will fall behind and get stressed trying to play catch up after a long
Choosing to home school generally means that a parent needs to be home throughout the day which can mean a loss in income. Today, it is very common for it to take two incomes for one family to survive. So not having the flexibility to work during the day may be a huge disadvantage to families. Another possible disadvantage to homeschooling is that it is believed by parents that they can provide the best education for their children, but this is not always true. Home schooling does take time, planning, and commitment. Although parents may want what is best for their children, they may not always have what it takes to provide it educationally. It may also be a disadvantage for teenagers who are homeschooled and choosing to go to college after high school, if they have never been in a public school setting. In high school, students become familiar with a class schedule, the campus, and study groups. It may take longer for a home school student to adapt to a college campus and studying habits than those who have attended a public high school or middle school at some time in their
Usually, students go away to the college or university of their dream to further their education and to learn to live on their own. However, many pupils are realizing that they don’t have to go far, or let alone leave their bedroom to get their education. Students are staying at home as they get their education instead of going to another state. Education has converted to being a lot more moldable, and students can go back and forth from home to school or even do online classes. The positivity factors include not having to pay for living quarters and the tuition of staying at home is way less then leaving. Even with all of these differences students are still faced with decision of staying home or
