While parents claim it takes away individuality, students should have uniforms because it improves professionalism, helps focus on education and decreases crime. One of the reasons students should have uniforms because it ameliorates professionalism and intensifies their reputation. Uniforms have proven to improve the skills of rule following and abiding the polices in students. The skills they learn in school would be helpful to them to follow the rules and not lose their job and helping create a good image of themselves. A study conducted in 2007 tells that the teacher felt the respect and trust level go up once uniforms were introduced("School Uniforms "). Teachers always say treat others the way you want to be treated. They apply the same concept to themselves, so as they feel the respect for them going up they would increase their respect for you too.
