Why Should Technology Be Considered Disruptive?

There are many reasons by which technology could be considered disruptive. For instance, is this invention something that as a population we cannot live without? Is this invention considered necessity? Or financially is the cost of this product not only going to prove to be costly for consumers but will the return on invest be considered astronomical. Or status quo for example is the creation of a device going to affect the way-out children and our children’s children practice medicine. These definitions might seem broad but at the end of the day disruptive technology should be something that you hear about in passing that the new quite bluntly can’t shut up about and is at the epicenter of daily life. is it? I know so many people who say they are saving information on the cloud but what does that mean and why should anyone care? Well a this is a form of disruptive data because everyone is either saving information on the cloud or other external devices and hackers would love to get a crack at this data no pun intended and sell it on the dark web this information is disruptive because everyone is moving towards technology that is inevitable so what happens when or if we no longer keep printed medical records and all the information kept online is deleted or compromised. Not only will this disrupt how we treat patients and store medical information but it is frightening to consider how many systems, storage devices or databases are so closely linked with technology or the cloud to name a few.
