say stuff like “It’s way too expensive to get a phone” and i get that you don’t have to buy an $1,000 phone for your kid just get them an iphone 5 or 5s or a Samsung Galaxy s5 or s6 cheap but a good quality phone. What happens if there is an emergency like someone getting hurt or their house started on fire when the parents were gone. If someone had a heart attack or a home intruder you’re not gonna run to your kitchen and call 911 on your home phone when an intruder is in your home. I would want to be reassured that my kid is safe when i’m not home. But i understand that not everyone can afford to have a phone for their child or for themself. Kids can sometimes not be responsible and break their phones for lose their phone.Which is not ok but there is insurance which again some people can’t afford.

Sure, cell phones have games on ‘em, so what, when would you play those anyways in class? I think cell phones shouldn’t be allowed in school because, some phones don’t have internet, age should matter, ringing, and most of all, games is why most people want their phone only because of games.
Ever since incidents such as 9/11 and Columbine, high schools have started implementing new rules regarding cellphones. Cellphones regard the attention of building managers, teachers, parents, and students. Although teachers see them as a distraction and a way to cheat, they can be quite helpful to students. School districts should permit students to use cellular devices in school for purposes of improving their education and providing themselves a sense of security.

Some people argue that cell phones should not be allowed for children because children who have mobile phones spend more time on it, and not spend quality time with their family.
