Some people need to know how much work pitbulls are to train, and all of the time with them all the time so that they behave well. Before banning the pitbull, there needs to be thought put into it first. People that will spend time with the dog and build trust with it, they are the ones that deserve the dog. There is a dog breed on the fence for the government about the pitbull. Over the years, pitbull attacks have been pretty wild (Procon.org1). These dogs are known to be very protective and aggressive. When pitbulls feel threatened, they will attack. The word “Pitbull” refers to a dog with a very broad head and muscular body (Procon.org 2). When “dog fighting” became a thing, pitbulls were on the podium every time. Pitbulls also at one time were used in war. To bring these dogs in public, there is a rule as of December 31, 2023 that pitbulls must be muzzled and kept on a leash. The reason for these “attacks” is because pitbulls just have a lot of drive and want to put an end to something that annoys or irritates them. Some attacks by pitbulls can be deadly. Also, when a pitbull sees another dog, it immediately wants to meet it. When pitbulls are both the same gender, they may become very territorial and tend to get aggressive (Procon.org2). Pitbulls develop a strong bond with one person, and that's about it. Another reason why the pitbull would attack is if they are not familiar with someone.
