Purdue University is a public college in Lafayette, Indiana. It was founded on May 6, 1869. Many people go to this university and enjoy what it has to offer. There are many interesting things about Purdue University, for example, Neil Armstrong studied aeronautics at Purdue University and was the first man on the moon.
Many other famous Aluminis have studied at Purdue University such as Drew Brees, who now plays for the New Orleans Saints in the NFL; John Wooden, who was an American basketball player and coach at UCLA; and Gus Grissom, he was one of the original NASA project astronauts, test pilot, mechanical engineer, and a United States Air Force pilot.
