A majority of people consume soda on a daily basis. Some might drink more than others, but they are all probably aware of the health risks. Unfortunately, sodas are extremely toxic. It can cause obesity, diabetes and other health risks. Even though soda quenches your thirst and tastes really good, it shouldn’t be a reason to drink it all the time. When choosing something to drink we should think about how it will affect our bodies. What is soda you may ask? Soda is a beverage that contains carbonated water, sweetener, and a flavoring. All diet sodas increased risks of metabolic syndrome and diabetes because of the high amounts of artificial sweeteners and other ingredients. They help lowers our metabolism that could give us less energy in our bodies which could end up making people sick. Diet sodas also produce high amount of phosphate that help weaken bones and muscles inside our bodies that could lead to injuries.
