Did you know that there are about 7.22 billion out of 7.6 billion people have some type of mobile device? People in many schools regularly sneak around on their cell phones, trying to hide them from teachers or administrators. Cell phones used to be completely banned from school. Now since the schools let kids bring them, students always find was too sneak onto them without being noticed. There are plenty of reasons why kids should not be able to use phones in school. One of these reasons is because so many people use phones for cheating. There are plenty of ways that students can find to cheat on their cell phones. One way is by googling an answer to whatever you are working on like a test or homework. Most people use calculators to cheat when they are working on homework. The next one, I've seen my sister and her friend do before. That is, having a friend or classmate take a picture of their homework so that they can copy it all down. …show more content…
One of these off task causes is that you may be tempted to get on something like YouTube and forget to turn down your volume. Then you, and everyone else, including your teacher or instructor hears a big boom of music or sound out of the blue, then guesses what, once the instructor find out who it was that phone gets taken right away. Another one of these of task causes is playing games. Your teacher could have on an educational video, and then the next thing you know the administrator sees a glow on your face that is not coming from the video, now guesses what the phone gets taken away. People in younger generation rely on cell phone to accomplish basic needs. Some even becomes addictive to the cell phone. For example, I have a cousin who considers cell phone as an important part of her daily life. If I ask her to put away her cell phone, she would complain “I can’t live without my cell phone.” Cell phone should be prevented from using excessively because if cell phone is used in an improper way, it would ultimately becomes a distraction device for students. Therefore, students would be lack in interpersonal relationship, distracted during class, which can lead to academic failure, and distracted while driving, which can lead to serious accident and death. The negative impacts of cell phone on students are significant matters that need to be addressed.

Cellphones regard the attention of building managers, teachers, parents, and students. Although teachers see them as a distraction and a way to cheat, they can be quite helpful to students.
