When you workout, you are always told to stretch before you start your workout, but you usally will skip it to get to the exercise. So why is it important ? Here I will explain the importance of streatching to help you understand the benifits of streatching before starting your workouts. Stretching helps muscle development, motion of muscles,blood flow, and posture.
Stretching is important because it helps improve muscle development to help your muscles to move effectively. If you don't stretch your muscles then the connective tissue around the muscle will slowly shorten. When you stretch, the muscle fibers and tissue grow helping the stretched muscles to become longer. If you are wanting to build your muscle then stretching is very helpful

The topic in which I have chosen to research on is Pranayama. This is the 4th limb of yoga and is directly translated as breath control. This was an area of yoga that was very difficult for me throughout my experience this spring. Most people would probably want to write about something that was very interesting and natural for them in yoga, but I figured that writing about something that was a struggle for me would help me to be able to improve in this specific area.

When you warm up you get your blood flowing and loosen up your muscles. Loosening your muscles before exercise helps you avoid injuries to your muscles.
