Social media has its high perks, but it also has its downside. Social media can help people and also ruin people. Altho social media does good thing it also does bad things. Social midea is used for lots of things. It is used to help people all over there world but is is also used for crime like kidnapping. Social media has its good purks. Social network is a very good way of passing on information. Social media can also be used to make a great change. It can give you the power to do that. Some people use it to bully other people. Normally teen are who use it to bullying other teens. They use it to bully other peers from their school and bullying leads to very bad results. Half of the students who commit suicide are caused from bullying. 49.5% of kids are victims of get cyber bullied. 33.7% of kids admit of doing the action of cyber bullying. Social media is also used for sexting. Sexting get so out of control that 2,291 agencies see at least one case of sexting. 51% of girls send pics of themself because they wore pressured by a guy and 18% of guys send pics of himself preshed by a girl. 88% of self sexual pictures are stolen and posted on social media. 88% of the pictures that are put up online that are sexual wore stolen and put up online. Criminals also use social media for their own benefits. A gang is a good example. They use the social media for their crimes. If you post something valuable on social media you are pretty much asking the gangs to pay visit to you home when you are not there and they will just take what you posted on social media and well you posted all your valuables. You posting your valuables in pretty much an invitation for criminals. Gangs all so use social to threaten people and threaten other gangs. Another type of criminals who use social media are kidnappers. They convince the kid that there other kid and they ask them to meet up on day and well the next thing you know is that you kid never came ofter school or they sed they wore going to meet up with some friends ans you not knowing it was an adolt and well she never came
