Since the first person heard the wind whistle through the trees or the sea in a seashell humans have been drawn to sound. Being the oppressive and ingenious species that we are we felt the need to capture these sounds and any others that we could to keep for our own. Eventually people like Pythagoras and gods such as Apollo found that by stretching materials and picking/plucking them that they would produce sounds and that the tighter you stretched these strings the higher the sound would go. These were the early beginnings of the pianoforte.

Different cultures have different ways of doing this, so it is important to realize that communication can be interpreted differently.
Communication is key is any society. If we were unable to communicate with one another then how could our society grow and get better.
In a world where the reign of complexity rules with the strongest of influence, our ability to communicate with one another allows us to solve even the most difficult of situations. Even so, human beings take communication for granted, we possess the ability to communicate instantly from across the globe and in real time, we can alert others of danger within a minute 's notice, and keep our governments in check. Yet, we squander and misuse our communicative abilities to gossip about celebrity drama or the nonsensical events that take place within our society. However our ability may or may not be used, our potential to communicate is essential to our functionality and the survival of our interpersonal relationships
“Why would humans communicate with each other in the first place?” is a good question to consider when exploring this topic. The biggest and most significant benefit of communication is the fact that communication is the primary medium of transferring knowledge and information between people, leading to advancement throughout all of humanity. Through a basic survival lens, people could talk to others to tell them where there might be a potential food source or a potential water source. People would also communicate and warn each other about predators. Then, as language evolves and times change, people would communicate less about biological needs and more about ideas. Through the sharing of ideas, multiple people could work together to bring such ideas into fruition, which is still relevant today where people share an idea they have hoping to inspire others to share their vision and work with them to accomplish their goal. Communication at this point in human history would also be used as a method of connecting with other people. “Brain coupling … is the means by which we understand each other … Evidence for synchrony in two people’s insulae suggests that in good communication, two individuals come to feel a single, shared emotion as well, one that is distributed across their two brains” (Fredrickson 112). The connections formed between people are an integral part of what makes us human, and we owe part of our own individuality to the interactions we have with other people. The world as we know it today would not be possible without communication and sharing information between other people. Through communication, people can band together, form societies, and rely on these societies to make their lives easier; and in doing so, society becomes a deep-seated part of human life and

Interaction is a significant part of our daily lives. Oral communication with others is inevitable, and therefore it is crucial for us to acquire the skills to do so correctly. Aside from simply stating words or expressing ideas, oral communication serves various purposes. Oral communication allows an individual to express emotions, ideas, and feelings; it gives people the ability to empower, inspire, and motivate those who listen; and it allows people to share knowledge and traditions, as well as build their self-esteem. Oral communication is also useful in leading us to new discoveries, ideas, cultures, and perspectives (O’Neill). Thus, oral communication serves several different purposes in daily life; yet each of these purposes are connected to an even larger purpose. According to the textbook Communication: Making Connections, “Effective communication is critical to living successfully in today’s soc...
