For my person to meet is Michael Jordan. The reason why I picked Jordan is I like the sport and he plays basketball. I think I would have a fun time meeting Jordan because I can hangout with him and play some basketball. I also think meeting him can help me play basketball better and he can show me some tricks. What we would do first is play basketball. I would want to do that first because it would be a lot of fun playing against Jordan and he can teach me things about the sport. I would also want to play basketball first because I would want to play it all day long and make some shots on Jordan. The second thing we would do is go to Jordan's house. I would go to his house because so I can meet his family and friends that he has and I
think it would be cool to meet them. I would also go to his house because he may also have a basketball hoop their and me and him can make some shots. The last thing we would do is go out to eat. I would want to do this because I can meet Jordan better and me and him can just hangout and talk what we like and what we like about each other. I think eating out for dinner would be fun with michael jordan. Those are things that I would do with Jordan. Meeting Jordan would be an honor and shooting baskets with him. I could maybe even meet his old teammates. I think that it would be a great experience for me. That’s why I would do those things with Michael Jordan.
In the history of business, there has been a clear record of industry heads finding something or someone as a mainstay and bedrock for their respective companies or corporations; there is often a chief product that keeps many businesses afloat, even in the rough times. Apple found it's own in 2001 with the iPod. McDonald's has had the Big Mac since the late 1960s. Nike, however, found their goldmine in a person with Michael Jordan. Walter LaFeber's Michael Jordan and the New Global Capitalism tells the paints the picture of the rise of young Michael Jordan from his middle-class family in racist North Carolina up through college and into the NBA where he becomes an international sports icon. It tells the story of how Jordan catches the eye of Nike's ambitious co-founder and CEO, Phil Knight, and how he was transformed from a young, rebellious black hoopster into the face of a multi-billion dollar transnational corporation while stretching its touch all of the way to the far reaches of Asia. LeFeber's book also delves into the darker issues and topics addressing Jordan and Nike, such as race and sports and how they played a part during scandals that surrounded MJ off of the court along with the growth of Nike abroad and their dealing with technological changes in manufacturing while facing criticism for their labor practices.
I will start a contest for the fans who want to meet their favorite player. The fan who will win the contest with maximum accurate answers will be given a chance to meet his/her favorite player.
Culture plays a major role in shaping a country or region. According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, culture can be defined as “a way of thinking, behaving, or working that exits in a place or organization” (Merriam-Webster, n.d.). As with most countries, Jordan’s culture is built around it geographical territory, economy, military affairs, and religion.
When I began my report I didn’t know much about Michael Jordan, but I did know that he was “undoubtedly the greatest player in the history of the NBA'; (“Michael Air Jordan'; 1). It seemed like every time I heard the word basketball I also heard the name Michael Jordan. There’s just no avoiding him. If you are watching television you might see him playing basketball or golf. If you were reading a magazine there will probably be an advertisement with his picture. If you were walking down the street you might see a kid wearing Air Jordan shoes or a Bulls jersey with “JORDAN'; on the back of it. This man is probably as recognizable as the Pope.
Michael Jordan is one of the most well known people in the world. Whether it’s on the basketball court or on television, Michael Jordan is seen everywhere. Children see him and “wanna be like Mike.” Parents see him and believe he’s the ideal role model. This is the person everyone sees and adores. However, nobody sees his character off the court and off of television. I believe that his off the court behavior shows his true self. I’m not accusing Michael Jordan of being Satan; I just don’t believe he is the god that everyone makes him out to be.
Jordan foerver change the way basketball has been played. He accopmplished feats many athletes had never dreamed of attempting. Michael jordan has been known over the world for his greatness in the sport of basketball. He had dominated the league in the past with his outstanding Chicago Bulls team and always playing with the wizards for two year after the historic years with the bulls. I would most likely want to meet and talk to George Washington. He was a very important individual in the Revolutionary War and birth of our nation. I would ask him if really chopped down a cherry tree or is that an urban legend. It would also be interesting to hear testimonies of the many battles that occurred during the war. I would also inquire his opinion on the current social status of minors in the United States and demonstrate how much has evolved since he was president. My final question would be if he was proud of what he has accomplished in his lifetime.
I would meet Cesar Chavez he is a true hero to me. He made a great difference for the agricultural workers at the time and his accomplishments still affect us today. He was not only a Latino American civil rights activist he was also supported by the American labor movement. My father for years was a migrant worker and I am glad that Cesar Chavez made the difference that he did. Chavez protested and boycotted companies and industries that did not pay workers enough, treated them unfairly, and had poor working conditions. Cesar Chavez was young when he became a migrant worker in farms, he had gone through the conditions himself, he knew just how important it was for farm workers to work in healthy safe conditions and decided he was going
When someone says the name Michael Jordan, the first thing that comes to mind is basketball, The Chicago Bulls and Nike shoes. Through the years, Michael Jordan has proved time and time again that he is the greatest basketball player ever, and by performing in this rapidly expanding sporting field, he has gained tremendous popularity throughout the world. People of all ages and from all nationalities have gathered to watch him play. A journalist states 'even your Aunt Matilda might not know nothing about basketball, liked watching him play' (Jonathon 1999:58). Jordan has become more than just an entertainer. He is a hero and a role model amongst basketball spectators. Johnson claims that 'he is the most famous American in the world' (ibid.). Perhaps he was born to be the best.
Michael Jordan is considered, by many, to be the greatest basketball player of all-time. However many do not know who he is as a person, or what he has contributed to basketball. Michael Jordan may be the greatest basketball player of all-time, but he is much more than a basketball player. He has contributed to many different charities, he was a baseball player, and he is a golfer. He is a champion off the court just as much as he was on the court to many people who receive donations from him. Jordan was a champion on the basketball court, but he is still a champion in the hearts of many off the court.
From this script, I liked Jordan’s character the most because she seemed to be the most fleshed out. In most of her scenes, she offers those that she interacts with a clear and objective perspective in favor of taking a step back and seeing situations from different angles. Her character felt authentic, grounded, and completely relatable to the script’s message.

The universe to me is a place that runs on darwinist ideas, survival of the fittest. Everything happens in a certain order for a reason. I believe that there is a God that knows everything we are gonna do before we do it. Life is like a game if you win you go to heaven, if you lose you go to hell. Life is a competition, humans are a very competitive species. Serving others is what we are here for, you serve your parents and elders. Everyone has different values, the thing that I value most is my family. I have all good relationships with my family members, I am very family oriented and I do everything with my family. Religion is a big part of me, I enjoy going to church and learning more about the word of God and celebrating certain holy days. I care about religion because I believe in a higher power and I believe everybody need something to life for, and I choose to live a good life in the name of Christ. Serving others is a very important part of Christianity, I often find myself helping at a homeless shelter, soup kitchen, or just donating money to those in need. I devote my life to Christ, our Lord and saviour. I believe everyone has a purpose and as long as you work to find that purpose you will live a successful life.
