Why Is John Carter Vincent Justified Persuasive Essay

It is the year 1952, and I, President Harry Truman, have an important case to address. John Carter Vincent has been investigated, finding reasonable doubt of his loyalty to the government. However, there is no certain evidence of such disloyalty, but as president, it is necessary to terminate Mr. Vincent to protect American citizens. As the leader of our nation, it is important for me to end any idea of Communist acts.
Allowing communist, or a communist supporter to work within our government, is a riskier route to take when considering our national security. Former State Department employee Alger Hiss was found to be a communist in the 1930s, so investigating Mr. Vincent was the right decision to make. I understand that there is no proof,

however he may have been influenced by an outside source. There could be a high possibility that John Carter Vincent committed actions with the Chinese that must be stopped. Persons proving their claims to be best are appointed to existing vacancies. Once appointed, they are removable only for cause- incompetency, a failure to fulfill their promise, being the best of causes. Even if Mr. Vincent wasn’t completely convinced to do something he didn’t agree with, these actions still cannot be accepted. In today’s world we have to take care of these dangerous matters and do what is best for the United States.
Mr. Vincent and his imperceptible events has made myself, and others, lose trust in his work for the government. The Loyalty Review Board has shared information that persuades me to believe Mr. Vincent is guilty, along with the connections Mr. Vincent has made with foreign nations. We cannot take any risks for one to be questioned of communism while working under the government for the United States. By putting America into harm, Mr. Vincent should go ahead and take his consequences for his actions.
It is hard to tell whether John Carter Vincent meant to commit a crime, or happened by accident. Unfortunately, he got involved with the wrong side and with an extensive fear of Communism, I must do what is necessary. As a result, the best solution is to disclaim John Carter Vincent to avoid any other problems that my come along in the future.
