Artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Botticelli, Donatello, Michaelangelo and Raphael all made significant contributions to the artistic world during the Italian Renaissnace. Art was so important during the Renaissance because it educated, inspired and created symbols of hope for many common people. Art was highly valued in the Italian Renaissance because many people wanted to have something that inspired them. Artists tried to capture individual experiences and the beauty of the world.
