Being able to take online classes will also help students reduce financial burdens such as living expenses that varied from renting a room or living in college dorms, transportations, visa expenses, and health insurance. As mentioned before taking Shippensburg as example, international students pay out-of-state tuition fees of $ 9,771, plus another $ 1,795 for their meals and $ 3,863 for housing per semester (Shippensburg University Tuition, Fees, & Housing). This tuition and fees is usually taken care of by parents, since international student are not permitted to work off campus. However, opening the door to international students to take college courses while living in their home countries bring some issues ranging from legitimacy of the education, some international students have issues with access to technology and issues with socializing with teachers and classmates.
