Why do you want to be staff?: I am applying for staff here on OPC for many reasons. My first reason is a big one, hacking. I hate it, you hate it, we all hate it. Hacking is giving you an unfair advantage that others players do not have. This is one of the reasons I would like to be staff is to ban the hackers that roam around OPC. I see quite a few hackers on kitpvp and factions, and try to tell a staff member to check it out. The only problem is sometimes there is not a staff member online, and some people don't know how to record or even report hackers on the forums. I have noticed on OPC that the amount of hackers has already decreased since OPC 1.0. I hope to decrease this "hacker" population drastically. My second reason I would like …show more content…
I am only 14 years old but I have had many people say they would expect me to be older. I respect everyone, and everyone's opinion no matter how stupid it is. I have very good self discipline, I will ignore people trying to pick fights with me. I also do not try and start fights myself either. I have very high expectations for me and everyone else. I am also a worker, I have had to work for many things in my life to get me where I am today. I believe that hard work eventually pays off. My next reason would be my level of respect and how much I care. I respect everyone on the server, allys or foes. I tend to see the good in people and I love when people see the good in me. My last reason would be my prior knowledge of being staff. I have played minecraft since November of 2012, throughout this time I have been staff on many servers, about 10-15 in total. Most of these servers went down, but the ones that are still up I have resigned, hoping to make more time for OPC. With all these servers I have been staff on I have learned a great deal which I am very fortunate about. Some of the things I am fortunate from would be, knowing what kind of punishment is appropriate for the players actions. I have learned what is expected of being staff such as what you say, your actions, etc. My second trait is welcoming, this might not seem like such a big trait but it is a trait I deeply care about. I know what its like to join a server for the first time. Sadly its usually not a very good experience, you usually don't know anyone since your new to the community. You also don't know whats going on in the server. This is where my trait steps in, I welcome all new players and love to answer their questions, this is something I can always make time for. I know that when I get welcomed into a server it makes me want to stay, and it really makes me feel
The five themes from my Clifton Strengths Report overwhelmingly echoed what I already see as active assets in my personal and professional roles. My five attributes in order from highest to lowest are Activator, Command, Woo, Communication, and Futuristic. These have aided and sometimes cause misunderstandings, but these are elements I have learned to hone, define, and exercise in order to develop others under my charge and myself.
My initial reason to enter the Air Force was a great way to pay for college which turned into a call of duty and a service commitment which has actively allowed me to contribute to the Air Force mission. Thus far I have led a joint force search and rescue effort and a multinational exercise to preserve freedom. As an F-15E instructor WSO and combat mission ready WSO I actively contribute to ensure our freedoms are preserved and the attacks of September 11, 2001 will never happen again.
I chose to pursue Social Work due to my philosophy of justice and believing in the progression towards a just world, or as Gandhi puts it; being the change you wish to see. I wanted a career that allowed me to work with people and provide help to individuals in need. I wanted a career that strives to provide equal opportunity for all people and works to end the dilemmas our society faces.
“It always seems impossible until it’s done”. This quote from Nelson Mandela comes to mind when describing why I aspire to become a Physician Assistant. It has always been a great motivation and inspired me not to get discouraged with failure; rather look forward for your goals. Frequently, it takes many trials and lack of success as well as achievements, for one to truthfully discover him/herself. I instinctively progressed through the motions of life. Many options were available and choosing a career as I grew up kept altering, until one day when I saw how helping other people is my sole purpose of life. Getting to know more of physician assistant drove me into the thoughts of pursuing it as a career.
Both my current job and are dream jobs are in the medical field they are very similar yet different. For example, my job now is a certified nursing assistant and my dream job is to become a registered nurse. Both jobs consist of taking guardianship of people providing hands-on work, comfort care, and compassion. My dream is to further my career from a nurse assistant and become a nurse that does more for people in the world.
I would say those are my strengths because honesty is the number one policy, especially if I’m dealing with the patients well being and health. Responsibility is not hard when there is a good set of rules already set in place for me to abide by. And as for being caring I feel that as a woman that somewhat comes naturally to some of us. It is like an instinct to make sure the person/s whom we are caring for is okay and safe.
Is Medical Assisting a great job for me in the future world? Medical assisting is a job that you help people with. This job includes things like taking blood samples, giving shots, check-ups, etc. Any interests I have had within this career is that you help others, prescribe medicine if they are in need, being prompt and taking care of others. Related talents to this career that I have is enjoying helping people, experiencing blood, doing regular check-ups etc. I have selected medical assisting as a career because its easy/ great training in under a year, employment growth, and flexible schedule. I believe that being a medical assisting is the best career for me.
I have chosen social work as a profession because of my passion to help others. I want to make a difference in someone’s life and help them through the problems they are having. Whether the client needs counseling, guidance, or advocacy I want to be the person to help them. My drive for helping others and motivation to change social policies for the better is why I have chosen social work as my future profession.
I gave this paper a lot of thought before I began to write. ?What qualities and traits do I posses that make me desirable as an employee, a teammate, and as a person?? First, you must be able to identify your own personal strengths and weaknesses in order to become a lifelong learner and an essential part of a ?team?. As technology is constantly growing you have to be willing to accept what makes you an asset or a liability in any given situation you may encounter in your life. The qualities and traits that I feel make me a valuable entity to my employers, co-workers, classmates and within my personal relationships are varied. I will go on to describe some of the attributes I think are most important in establishing and maintaining successful relationships whether personal or work related.
I should be a Moderator, because I have a great experience at staff, with communicating with players, helping and giving the right information to the player so they can understand better. Also I want to help the other Staff members when they are either sleep, doing other activities, doing homework, at work, moderating on another server. I also should be Helper, because I am a friendly guy who is strict with the rules and is cool with the players, who wants to give back to the community of OpCraft and fulfill the duty I am going to fulfill. I also want to give back by helping the other Moderator get rid of the hackers and make the community a better place for players to play on.
Being able to clearly understand how my job contributes to the Air Force, the Joint Environment, and the DoD is extremely satisfying. I take my work seriously because I know that what I do can have a direct impact on the military’s ability to fight and win wars. The personal achievements that I have experienced during my 22 years in the Air Force are also very gratifying. The work I did as a Security Policeman stand out the most. It was here that I went from a boy to a man in just a few short months and fully understood what it meant to be a part of the military. From humble beginnings in a small town I made the decision to enlist and take on a task bigger than myself. I had no idea what I was getting into.
The two areas that best reflect my strong suits are respectful and inspiring. (Steadiness) Respect should not be taken lightly and people want others to show them that they are important. I am not the one to belittle, talk down to someone, embarrass the other person, or not acknowledge someone because they are not like me or do not hold a certain position. People respond in a negative manner and become very defensive when others treat them in any of the ways previously mention. I look at how I want others to consider when speaking and interacting with me. That is the way I have to try to handle myself when dealing with others. Taking calculated risks is what I do best because I cannot stand losing too much if the results do not outweigh the risks involved. I am also very critical on myself and can point out faults in a heartbeat. I have to analyze future actions before I act on anything because I do not want to go wrong or too far away from initial path. Repeating myself or actually running through multiple scenarios takes up a lot of time. Being overly critical on myself will eliminate some of that time that I cannot get back.
Age do not determined the actual matureness of a person neither the circumstance to handle situations. Adulthood is not based on age; it’s based on emotional maturity. The ability to listen to and evaluate the viewpoint on circumstance they find themselves on and been able to analyze how to find the solution to the problem that makes them mature. Age is just a number; therefore you could be twenty-six, twenty-eight and still act immature. Many teens think that as soon they 18 their parents are going to continue to help them but the true is that they already did their part raising them up. One part of growing up and becoming an adult is that parents are not always going to be there so you got to grow up on your own. Sooner or later he or she are going to face obstacles on their own and that would make them stronger which will help them mature.
In conclusion i find that i would like to go into the job of being a pilot because I feel like I could prosper from the job. I would love to experience the job of flying through the air without a care in the world (other than that of my passengers). I would love to experience the passion of going to new places and learning about different cultures. This is why i would choose to be a pilot.
When I think of becoming a teacher I would like to imagine or hope that I would be “turning the key” for a student of mine to become something great. I have been soul searching for many years now to have a better understanding of what I am suppose to do in my life. I have worked in so many jobs in so many areas but nothing was fulfilling my life with any amount of meaning. I found myself not wanting to go back the next day or wishing I were somewhere else. Well I guess everyone does that is what I would tell myself.
