Obstetric nursing as an ideal career
This was quoted by an anonymous, “A nurse is who opens the eyes of a newborn and gently closes the eyes of a dying man. It is indeed a high blessing to be first and last witness of the beginning and end of life.” There are many different types of nurses but one specific nursing that I will speak about is an Obstetrical nurse. Obstetric nurses are specialized to work with women before and during pregnancy. They also work with women during childbirth. Obstetric nurses work mostly close with obstetricians and midwives. It is mandatory for them to be specialized in specific skills like neonatal resuscitation and electrical monitoring for fetal which is known as an ultrasound.

The nurses are the ones that builds a bond with women. They are also able to gain the trust and relationship with women that are going through pregnancy or childbirth. Many women that are experiencing pregnancy symptoms for the time may have a lot of concerns which is where an obstetric nurse come in. The women will feel as if they are in good hands and are willing to allow you to help them. The nurses have the opportunity to support and fight for women needs over time and also have the opportunity to care for undeserved women domestically. Obstetric nurses also witness the results of the people they are helping such as the health of the person that is going through pregnancy and the health of the developing fetal. Your total annual pay can be anywhere from $41,000.00- $82,000.00 a year. If you happened to be asked to be asked to travel they will pay you a high wage for traveling expenses, but it’s very rare you travel unless you specifically noted you were able to do so. Your uniform does need to be scrubs. Depending on the location of where the employee may work they may have color coded scrubs like in a hospital setting but if it’s at a more laid back small town clinic it may not be a strict dress code as to of a specific color or type of scrub pants/tops. Being an ultrasound technician can be a high pressure job at times.
In the society we currently live in today, medical careers are a vital factor regarding the well-being of citizens in the United States. Neonatal nurses make up a very small part of this field, but still play a huge role. Our population depends on neonatal nurses, for the reason that they assist newborns, who were just brought into this world, in becoming stable and healthy. Evidently, in order to become a neonatal nurse, a particular education is required. In addition, with this career comes both a number of benefits and burdens. Overall, in our country, even in the world for that matter, neonatal nurses are needed and the demand for them will continue to grow in the future.
...ctitioner's overall salary, such as family oriented nurse practitioners, adult female practice, women's health and wellness specialists, pediatric medicine, geriatrics and other specialty disciplines. Some nurse practitioners may overlap employment in neonatal clinics and psychological-based establishments. Nurse practitioners have the authority to prescribe medication in most U.S. States.
“The median annual pay for a nurse practitioner was $96,460 in May of 2012, which comes to $46.37 per hour” (Bureau of Labor Statistics 2012). Of course not all people in this field will make that much, half make less than that and half make more. The job outlook for this occupation is exemplary; “employment in this field is expected to grow 31 percent from 2012-2022” (Bureau of Labor Statistics 2012). This actually happens to be much faster than the average of all occupations.
For my wikipedia project I talked about neonatal nursing which is what I would like to be when I graduate from college. I just feel as though nursing is important because nurses impact today's society. The reason nurses impact the society we live in, is because they provide their patients with a level of care that is different from any other profession. Nurses make sure they get the job done so their patients can feel healthy and happy as possible. Also nurses serve as role models because they are looked up to by many people and they also inspire others to give back to the community in their own way. Nurses also help educate you by giving you information about medicine or even information on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Their advice can be very helpful, especially when you just need someone to encourage you. Lastly, nurses can encourage you through any situation. A friendly face and kind words and a warm smile can go a long way. Nurses are the people that patients and even the family of patients can rely on during the tough times. They are always there for their patients twenty-four seven so the patient can overcome any obstacle. Nurses are the

Everyday in this world, elderly, adults, teens or children become ill or get into accidents and need medical attention. Whether these elderly, adults, teens or children are taken to a hospital, pediatrician, specialist, or clinic, a doctor and a nurse will tend to them. The nurse plays a role that is just as important as the doctor. Nurses work very closely with the families as part of the caring process. Every member of the family plays a role in different ways. The nurses are there to help the patient as well as the family step through the illness or injury. They provide information for the prevention of future illness and injury, and help to comfort the patient and his/her family. It is vital that a nurse understands that to be a nurse, you need a certain personality and understanding of the field.
The biggest differences between perinatal nursing and neonatal nursing are the salary, the people they work with, and what they do when they are working. Perinatal nurses make at most ninety-two thousand annually, but neonatal

It’s been my desire, longing for a nursing career since I was in my primary and secondary school. At the age of 12, I began to look after children and baby-sitting then, from there, I gained the understanding of how to deal with children. Nursing is one of the highly demanding careers that bring new challenges every day and it comes with various rewards and a real sense of job satisfaction. I chose nursing because it is a profession where you never really finish learning. It has been my dream job since my tender age. Seeing nurses visiting my school treating students, immunisation, teaching us about health and sexual health issues, this encouraged me. My goal and desire at that age have been to help people within the Health sector. That is how; I decided to go to college where I am currently doing my Access to Higher Education Diploma (Science), which involves Biology and Chemistry. I chose this pathway because I want to gain the relevant skills and knowledge of my career to be. As someone who wants to become a nurse, I found biology as an important role in the delivery of client car...

An obstetrician is one thing, and a gynecologist is another. The job is combined together, but the two branches can be worked separately. An obstetrician is a physician who focuses and is trained in the management of pregnancy, labor, and pueperium (the period following childbirth). A physician who has specialized and trained in the health of the female reproductive system is a gynecologist. The reason the jobs are combined is because they’re both all about women. Obstetricians and Gynecologists are physicians who provide general medical care to women. They equip medical care associated with pregnancy or childbirth, and they diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases, especially those affecting the female
