The program of study that I would like to study is to be a financial advisor. Related programs of study may be an accounting jobs, or any job that is related to working with money. Basically the description of the program I would like to study is about telling people how to deal with their money. It is about telling each individual with investments, tax laws, and insurance decisions. This will help clients try for short-term and long-term goals on how to use their money. Then I would recommend investments to reach the clients goals. The related jobs would more likely be working as an accountant which is to prepare and examine financial records. Other related programs of study that I would choose to study may be something that involves communicating with other people. These are the related

My educational opportunities would consist of probably going to college. The reasons why are because to get this job you must have a bachelor's degree. The classes that fall into those two categories are accounting 1, business management, and business communications. These classes would be great because, in order to be a Financial Advisor you

Intro Deciding what you want to study during your college career can be a difficult and tedious task. This is due to fact that many young adults coming out of high school are unsure of what they want to do or what path to take career wise. It is also tedious because this requires that these individuals have to constantly try and explore new avenues so that they can find their passion in life. The path I chose to take when coming out of high school was entering the business school at Howard University.
To begin, I would like to go to college. I am not quite sure where, but I know I will attend college. The fields that interest
Career Position My career aspirations relating to the field of counseling are to become an expertise in the field of counseling. In addition, becoming part of a schools administration team to assist in supporting the public school system, our school administrations, and our teachers to guide our youth in solid counsel socially, personally and academically. My short-term goals are to become a school counselor, specifically working with high school students.
Dear members of the selection committee, Originally, I wanted to become a resident advisor because the position is a unique and powerful position on any campus; but it was particularly appealing to me on Union’s campus. My first real connection with anyone outside of my AOP class, of which I spent most the summer, was my RA. On a campus, as small and compact as Union, an RA is truly an invaluable resource to ask questions of. This is because not only can they answer them directly, but if they are unable to, they possess the resources to turn you to someone who could. My RA became the main point that I referred to for any questions, and in the end, became a close friend.
The career I wish to pursue is that of a stockbroker. I am extremely interested in the trading of stocks and financial holdings so the career of a stockbroker just seems to fit in with my overall plan. Numbers have also always been a fascination of mine and the trends of the economy and long term financial outlooks have often interested me greatly. Stock broking is a risky business that one needs to be prepared for highs and lows if choosing to pursue. You must understand what a stockbroker truly does to even begin to follow this as a life long career.
My God there are so many careers out there, who in the world can pick just one. That’s what’s been weighing on my mind heavily is what career is right for me. I’ve thought of a couple that interest me but I want to find out everything there is to know about a financial advisor. The reason that I’m interested in this field is how everything is the same when it comes to the actually math behind the career. Also I like to deal with people and money so a job as a financial advisor just seems right for me but I intend to find out as much as I can to make sure there’s nothing surprising or any kinks in what sounds like the perfect job for me.
When I was given the choice to any job that I want to do or research I choose a financial advisor. The reason that I choose a financial advisor is because it has always interested me. The reason that it interested me was because my dad has been a financial advisor for most of his life. This means I have a little better understanding of the job than the person next to me. From what I have heard from my dad it really makes me want to go into this same career. From the information that I know I like the job but, that’s why I did this research to learn more and see if the job would fit me as a person. I hope to find a job that will let me interact with people and not keep me at a desk all day.
My long term career goal is to found my own financial company that specializes in applying advanced analytics tools to solve complex financial problems. Having worked as a financial analytics analyst for more than 6 months at Enova Financial, a Chicago-based consumer online financing company, my passion towards financial analytics is reinforced. Ranging from basic data query and reporting to predictive modeling and optimization, data analytics has assumed a more important role in today’s financial services industry. Mastering data analytics could help financial institutions acquire the relevant information in the shortest amount of time and make the informed decisions thereafter. Since personal loan industry is only the niche of financial services, I would like to broaden my horizon of the financial knowledge by gaining a deeper understanding of its principle and its application in order to achieve my loan term goal. Entering a full-time master in finance program, as such, becomes the best option for me.
Some call me argumentative- I prefer the term dialectical. It is true, I enjoy debates more than the average person. Nothing compares to the thrill of triumphantly dispelling an opponent’s case and swaying an audience to my side. On top of that, I have a sincere appreciation and talent for writing, reading comprehension, and grammar. With these attributes, I feel destined for a career in law. Yet, it is more than just my personal tastes that have led to my interest in legal services. Growing up with a disorder, I have developed empathy for people with disabilities and a desire to help them by advocating for their rights. As a lawyer, I hope to take action to make the world a better place to live in for people with conditions similar- and maybe not so similar- to mine.
Becoming a financial analyst will allow me to enjoy a career in the finance field that pays well and also offers ample opportunities. The position of a financial analyst is growing very fast and so there are more opportunities for me to become a financial analyst. Being a financial analyst will not only put me in a powerful position within the organization but it will also teach me skills that I need about investing for my own financial life. Some of the qualifications for the career that I already have include a bachelor’s degree in finance, technology experience (Microsoft word, Microsoft outlook), skills such as maximization of work practices, and quality vigilance. One qualification that I need for this position is the ability to turn data into information. Since this position requires past experience and I have none, I can undergo training so that I can be at par with the job functions and requirements. Despite the fast growth of the job, though, there is stiff competition and even though I will most likely get this job with my bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree will help me stand out among my competitors and it will also be a wise investment for me since I have my eyes on a financial management position at one point in
When I was 8 year old I scored 100 out of 100 marks in Mathematics and when my class teacher announced the results whole class stood and clapped, I can never forget that overwhelming moment in my life, I was so happy and contended, and that day I understood the importance of education in life. My parents couldn’t study after high school due to financial restrictions but they always taught me importance of higher education to imagine and pursue goals. My family has been extremely supportive throughout the journey and has constantly motivated me to realize my potential to the fullest extent by providing conducive environment for studying and encouraging me in my endeavors. Throughout my high school, I enjoyed two things: Mathematics and Extra-curricular activities, these activities helped me to gain team skills, stress management skills and social relationship skills. Psychology is a broad branch of study that can lead to multiple career paths, depending on the individual’s interests and what it is they are trying to accomplish when they begin their studies in psychology. For some, there is one particular occupation they want in psychology, such as a private practice behavioral therapist. For others like myself however, all they’ve considered was the general idea- something in psychology, or perhaps a bit less vague but still not distinctive enough to help find a career, would be something like “something that helps children.” The goal is to be able to find a specific workplace to pursue, and for this reason, I have been looking into the prospect of being a high school counselor, or being an emergency clinical

The normal title for the job that I chose is a “Chartered Accountant”. The job of a chartered accountant is to provide accounting and business advice to companies and individuals. Chartered accountant may also provide information to clients on tax planning, personal financial planning, corporate finance, and information technology (Job Description). The major skills required for a chartered accountant are communications skills, computer skills, and listening skills. A chartered accountant needs communication skills, as they need to talk with their clients, and need to be able to effectively tell the client the advice they are giving. A chartered accountant needs to have computer skills, as they are constantly making calculations using a computer and using different programs to display financial information properly to their clients. Finally, a chartered accountant needs to have good listening skills, as they must give proper and full attention to what the client is saying, without interrupting unnecessarily in between (Do You Have it in You to Become a Chartered Accountant?). Personal abilities to have that are beneficial are strong interpersonal skills. This is because chartered accountants always have to communicate and be social with their clients. They are constantly put in a position where they have to share their expertise with companies and clients. So strong interpersonal skills are important so that they can effectively communicate information with their clients. Also, knowledge of computer programs for auditing and financing is a good personal aptitude to have.
