This position will assist you in reaching your future goals of maintaining your physical trainer certification and owning your own gym. This additional duty will enhance your role as a creator, because you will be able to work with the Physical Training Leaders on creating new and more effective workouts to help maintain the Air Force’s Fit to Fight standard. To maintain a Fit to Fight standard, members need to by physically fit to endure long strenuous hours of hard work in a multitude of environments. A proper physical fitness regimen will ensure all members are ready to accomplish the mission. This degree will help not only your future goals of owning your own gym but also help you while you’re still in the Air Force. The Air Force is similar to a civilian business as it needs to be managed in all aspects so that the mission can be a success. The new education you’ve earned can enhance your creator role with new ideas and assist you in inventing innovative ways to accomplish the mission. You can work with your peers and your supervisors to properly utilize all the resources within your control to ensure the mission is accomplished in an efficient and effective manner. When using this new found knowledge to capitalize on your more adaptive behaviors, you will be able to utilize the current operating instructions while using your creator role to fine tune them. This will make sure the workload is completed and the hospital will be able to process patients and get them back to being healthy and able to fly, fight and win because without healthy members the mission will fail and freedom will be jeopardized. You can see how this would directly affect the Air Force mission because people are the mission and unhealthy members cannot accomplish what is needed of them by the Air Force. At the same time, you will be able to properly manage the gym you want to own so that it will run correctly and meet the intent you have
Commissioning in the Air Force has been a life-long aspiration. My grandfathers enlisted, but went on to retire as field-grade officers with careers spanning WW2, the Korean War and the Vietnam conflict. Their experiences inspired me to follow in their footsteps and serve my country. After starting college, I soon enlisted due to financial hardships but my desire to commission never waned. Over 10 years’ service, my goal of commissioning ultimately took a back seat to my missions, Airmen and responsibilities at hand. However, I have always sought out opportunities to advance my abilities through holding key positions and seeking out added responsibilities. By earning a commission, I will continue to grow professionally, improve our Airmen and further expand our service's capabilities.

To satisfy my curiosity and gain a broad understanding of athletic training, I chose to interview my boss, Pete Stevens. Pete is employed by Physiotherapy Associates, a nationwide corporation that specializes in physical/occupational therapy, athletic training, and fitness/sports training. He has worked there for three years. He is currently the Head Athletic Trainer for The Arizona Rattlers. Pete received his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training at Boise State University in Idaho, followed by a graduate degree in Recreation from Arizona State University. He is currently considering additional education to become a Physician’s Assistant.

Making sure the patient gets the best quality care reduces the time spent for recovery. Reducing the time spent for recovery increases the organization’s finances. Providing a safe facility also reduces the expenses on the private hospital’s budget. Ensuring a patient is safe can reduce potential use of ongoing treatment and services. Hiring the appropriate nursing staff needed can save the organization money. Instead of cutting back on staff, more staff needs to be hired to fulfil the needs of the patient. In the economy today, private hospitals need to focus on the overall long term effects of each action opposed to quick reactions resulting in financial strain for the facility.
One of the Army leader’s roles is to plan, assess, and prepare execution of daily training. The training that is carried out is based on tasks, conditions and standards. The Army training prepares Soldiers to always fight to the optimum level of operations. In fact, some of the crucial issues include versatile, lethal, agile, and survivable force. The mission is always challenging but Physical Readiness Training, or PRT, prepare the Soldiers to fulfil the mission regardless of the constraints of an operational environment. To achieve victory, Soldiers depend on their coordination, resiliency, strength, stamina, as well as agility to fight and win. The operation and fighting ground requires the best physical conditioning (Headquarters Department of the Army, 2012). In general perspective, Army Physical Readiness Training is accomplished in various chapters, which include approach, system, leadership, types of program, planning considerations, execution of training, preparation and recovery, strength and mobility activities, as well as endurance and mobility activities.

The individual filling the position of the physiotherapist also has the responsibility of training the other staff members on how each piece of equipment works. The physiotherapist is required to inform other staff members on how the equipment can be used for different conditioning and rehabilitation purposes. The Fit Stop also employs one individual with a bachelor degree in Kinesiology in order to provide advice to clients based on specific sports or physical activities. The need for extrinsic rewards is much higher than the need for intrinsic rewards due to all of The Fit Stop’s employees being full-time.

Since the time I was young, my grandfather instilled in me a deep respect and love for my country. I learned that we had freedom because many people would put on a uniform and risk their lives for our country to defend it. My grandfather told me about several people in my family who died while in service to this country and from a young age I wanted to be like them. I knew it was important to fight for our freedom and for our wonderful country like the many people in my family before me. My grandfather, who was in the invasion force in Japan during world war two is a big part of why I want to be an Army officer.
For the 2018-2019 school year I will be applying for the positions of Flight Commander & Flight Sergeant. I believe that I have various suitable qualifications that will help me excel in a flight leadership position. I have experience with not only being in the cadet staff, but I have had experience with being able to take charge of a group of kids and lead them. First, I have the qualifications of being able to work well with others.
Physical training is a very essential part of the army culture. Physical fitness has a direct influence on their combat readiness which also ties into needing to be mentally and physically tough. Being physically fit allows you to be productive and also gives you the opportunity to enjoy even the little things in life. It also allows you to be able to adapt and survive through tough living conditions. Having the proper diet and exercise can improve a person’s quality of life. Maintaining a high level of fitness helps you perform at higher levels throughout your life. Healthy muscles are less susceptible to to injury, less likely to tear and give in to stress. Which is why it’s important to take care of your body. Soldiers who don’t meet military fitness standards risk being discharged or maybe disciplinary actions.
Proper action plus proper timing equals desired results. Physical training is a lifestyle that requires commitment, determination, and discipline.
