You can just be having a pretty bad game and can’t find anthingthing clicking for you, but you being persistent you continue to shoot you heart out hoping that you will make you’ll make it which is most likely not going to happen. If you do find a way to make the shot it’s either going to be the starting point for you to get on track or it’s going to be a once in a lifetime shot and you’ll go back to struggling again. Most of the time when you’re having a hard time making a shot, everything goes terribly too, unless you’re a gift from God himself, but there’s no one that good, so have fun continuing to struggle. Even your fans get mad at you because they expect you to be perfect. They always want a good game and always want a win especially when it counts. They don’t mind errors as long as you’re not costing the team the game. If you do cost the game they go ballistic especially when an important game is on the line. They like to break stuff and rage all the time, as if it’s going to be the end of the world. Since you’re not doing anything right on the floor the coach thinks you can do so much better sitting on the bench watching the game, or passing down water to your teammates. How about coaches favorites you can forget about those. You usually see this while you’re still in school. There’s always that kid or kids on that get more minutes than you or other people but in reality they’re not

The sport is very public and easy to see, however there are many things that occur behind closed doors when no one is looking.
High school coaches been sworn at called names and physically threatened by parents before, during, and after the games. Playing time is often at the root of the problem though sometimes a parent is outraged that their son or daughter isn’t being played at what the parent thinks is their child’s best position (Nolan). In addition, equal playing time is important because it developed every player skills.(Nicole). Take, for instance, the case of a young player who has never played for a club before. He’s 11 and charges around the place without being able to control the ball or kick. Many of his teammates didn’t think he should play for their team but the coach has been working with him and one day he wanted to let him play and believe it or not he did very well for his first game that he even made a goal for the team (David). The best thing to do whenever you’re in a sport is that the coaches
Status and prowess that inherently came from playing competitive sports and recreation also came out of convenience. As sports and recreation became integral in American everyday life, there was a problem in the north. It became too cold to play baseball and football outside, but it was wasn’t possible to play these sports inside as it just resulted in injuries to players and the facilities where they attempted to play them. Therefore, basketball was invented as a game where you couldn’t run with the ball and scoring was upright in hopes to decrease the amount of violence but also provide men with recreation in the winter. Soon, basketball just like cycling, football, prize fighting and baseball became a competitive sport and turned into a business where status and prowess become the significant. There were handbooks written to guide people to play and watch basketball and prove its status as a serious sport; “physical judgment is required and cultivated in handling the ball, receiving it from one of your own side, and eluding an opponents” (Naismith 5). Basketball, just like other sports required prowess, physical fitness and understanding of the game in order to defeat the
The gym is full of people; the stands are so full that they overflow onto the edge of the court and out the doorway. The shrieks and screeches cry out from the crowd’s cheers. The ball crashes through the net, as they jump popcorn flies. The home team hit a three-point shot; they are winning with only a few seconds left. In these few seconds, the coach looks around. He realizes why he does what he does. At this point, none of the labor, time, and effort matters. The only thing that matters is the win, seeing his team succeed; watching a team grow is unlike any other feeling. In order to understand that feeling, one first has to appreciate the game: the rules and regulations, the legends that have played and coached, the development of the game,

...idered a "clutch" player, one to do well in high pressure situations, so when I don't succeed, or hold up to ones expectations as well as everyone thought I would, it is disappointing.
I started playing volleyball in seventh grade, and I had completely fallen in love with the sport. Growing up in a small town, our school always struggled to find coaches that were not related to players. In middle school, I would always be so angry that the important named kids got to play in the A team, while I was stuck in the corner with the B team. Eventually, eighth grade year I decided to join a club team, and increase my skill for freshman year. I enjoyed club, I had actually made the one team, and I had virtually no problems with anyone or anything that season. But, just as soon as freshman year rolled around my attitude changes a lot. I’ve gained the perfectionist trait from my mother, and with this mindset in a sport, you’re almost guaranteed to struggle. Freshman year I had just come off of club, so I knew so much more about the sport and its movements. Naturally I wanted to be perfect, I personally believe that I had done really well as a freshman, but when I messed up I became silent.
Meanwhile a coach should also teach the players that if they are brand new or if they are too young to even know those things. All coaches should really care for the team and they should be willing to try and make that team better than what they was. Basketball to players can be very competitive because they want to win and have fun at the same time. Next I think if you’re a coach you shouldn’t be to hard on a player to make it to where they wouldn’t want to come back and play for that coach again, however by doing that someone that is interested in that coach and want their kid to play for that person the kid they were too hard on can tell that person how rude you were to them and that they should not try out or play for that coach.
