I hate cowboys. Those rednecks think they can ride me. Yeah right! I am untameable. The rusty bars I’m put between, the smelly cowboy that gets on top of me, the dirty arena, the hillbilly fans, all of it just repulses me. My owner Julio thinks that my job as ripping people off of me if just the job for me, and he is right. Even though I hate cowboys, I love my job because I am able to yank them off of me. If I’m lucky, they’ll fall under me and I’ll get to stomp them. Even though I have many drawbacks to my job, I have numerous positive things about it. For one, my fans have given me over $500,000 because they buy fanfare items from the gift shop. I also get to travel a bunch. I get to see really fun and exciting cities like Las Vegas, Miami, and Houston. …show more content…
The trailer that Julio makes me ride in is the equivalent of a human riding in coach on an airplane. It is a literal torture chamber. I have no room so spread out, relax, or stretch. I am stuck in the torture chamber for hours and hours, breathing in dirty, stale air, and sitting in my own waste. Every bump I hit jerks me into the side, and every time Julio slams on the breaks I fly into the front of the trailer. But finally, after a what seemed to be an endless trip, we have finally arrived. Julio jumps out and unchains the trailer and lets me out. I jump out, excited to see what city I am in today, and I am blinded at first by the sunlight. My eyes finally adjust, but I am in shock and full of excitement. I am in Cleveland, the best city in America!! I am so enthusiastic to be here and cannot wait to see the arena, the other bulls, and the despicable cowboys thinking they can stay on me for eight

Clint Murchison, Jr. and Bedford Wynne were awarded a National Football League (NFL) expansion franchise on January 28, 1960, located in Dallas, TX. At the annual meeting, they purchased the team for $600,000 (Bohls 1). Murchison’s and Wynne’s next moved was to high their front office personnel which were: Tex Schramm (General Manager), Gil Brandt (Director of Player Personnel), and Tom Landry as Head Coach. In the beginning there were called the Dallas Steers, then after a couple of weeks the name was changed and there were called the Dallas Rangers. That name was short-lived as well, as it conflicted with a baseball team that was in the city. Then they finally decided to name the team the Dallas Cowboys to keep the confusion down (Fleming 1).

Around midnight on the fourth day, the boy and his family members awakened again. This time they went with the family of the house's owner to a bus station where they took the bus going northward. The boy was very happy because he was free at last to play as a normal child again. On the way, everybody was fascinated and hypnotized by the scenery along the road, especially the kids because it was the first time they had left the cosmopolitan city for the countryside.
I can hear the hum of taxi cabs whizzing past me as I stand on the corner of the busy downtown street. New York City! I still can't believe that I'm here or that I'm staying here. Aunt Allison was so sweet to let me live in her place whilst she travels around south America. I step out onto the road when the traffic light changed from green to red.
new people as well as see new cultures. It has always been a dream of mine to travel
What is a cowboy? Who are they? Elmer Kelton’s novel The Day the Cowboys Quit and The Old Chisholm Trail depict cowboys as workers who round-up cattle and relocate them from one place to another as needed. Like everyday workers, cowboys have their own unique personalities. Ranging from hot temper to calm and understanding. For the most part, cowboys have their own issues just as any workplace would. When this occurs there needs to be a leader to take charge in order to fix or control a situation. The way that cowboys respond in times of trouble is when they demonstrate how qualified they are to be a leader. According to Elmer Kelton’s novel The Day the Cowboys Quit and the film The Old Chisholm Trail, there are cowboys that set themselves apart by showing strong leadership skills such as dependability, loyalty, respect, and open-mindedness.
Jeremy looked at me with his tired eyes, “I am coming.” Papa was already ready, and we started to go into the wagon. When we started moving, I was so excited. The ride took way longer than I thought it would, so I started playing with the dirt on the wagon floor. By the time I looked up, we were in Strawberry, I felt the excitement rushing up to my head.
I had finally seen an ending to this infinite trail. She slowed down and smiled her smile was as enchanting as the sun peeping through the intertwined trees. We had now arrived at the edge of a cliff it looked like no one had been there before. The sun was gleaming like the heavens and the sea right in front of the cliff lifted its spirit and crashed into the cliff. She sat down in a patch of grass and opened up her bag. She took out a photo of Vivian, a dress and a pair of shoes she left them there and laid down to next to it still smiling.
As we pulled into the parking garage for the players, I could feel the little tiny hair on the back of my neck stand up. The tension was great we knew the great challenge we were about to encounter. The garage gave me a feeling like I was some kind of celebrity that everyone wants to be. We unloaded our equipment out of the car and headed toward the locke...
Many people think of the Dallas cowboys as a team that haven’t played in the Super Bowl for twenty years. They think this team is a team of losers and big mistakes through their coaches and trading of key players.
