Before the storm of the century, I believe that I had a grade of 86 for Graphic Design. I have done all the work I have been told to do. I completed all of my work to the best in my ability. I respect my teacher and listen to what he has to say. Also I work hard to do all my work in time. And that’s why I deserve a grade of 86. I deserve a 86 for my grade because I have used all my work time wisely most of the time. I pay attention to do what i’m supposed to do, and not mess up in my work. I do fool around in class a lot but I attempt to finish my work when needed. I try my best and make sure I follow all of my direction. My second reason is I always listen to the teacher when he speaks to us. when he give us directions I follow them. also
In other subjects I used to get 90+ but chemistry was one subject where I used to get in 70’s, despite getting less in chemistry, my teacher believed in me because she knew that there was no problem with me in understanding the concepts, rather it was because I can’t memorize a thousand equations in my mind at a time. For my finals, I knew that it was extremely important for me to score at least 90+ in chemistry to get a good percentage. With the help of my teacher’s faith in me I studied a lot for my exam, and managed to get 95 in my finals. It was just because of the constant practice and learning, I still remember all the equations and theory which I had once found difficult to
...to prepare my instruction as well as take more time to explain my instructions to the class. This way I can clearly communicate my lesson more thoroughly to the intended class. Next, the media I chose wasn't very effective. Due to the time and the place, I may choose to use colored pencils or markers instead. This will allow the students to create cleaner, more vibrantly colored lines.
This was an oral presentation, in which I prosecuted Macbeth. I received a grade of A-, however was told that it was my actual presentation rather than my essay that stopped me getting a higher grade :)
I believe I deserve this grade as the effort and progress of work I achieved is equivalent to Credit grade and most of the tasks have been done very well.
I do believe that I earned this grade, but I think it could be better in the future. In the beginning of this quarter I was not doing good, in my essays i was getting low grades. I did not know what Mrs. Brach expected of us and as the quarter went on I improved and began to get threes and fours.I do agree with the matrix because I got a lot of threes couple fours and a couple of twos which the majority is a 3. I was doing really well in the presenting part of the matrix but having trouble in the writing portion. Like I said I was becoming better at it and was bringing my grades up to threes and fours from that which once started at twos. I hope in the future that I will come out of this class with an A and I will work very hard for it. I will do whatever it takes and take any criticism from Mrs. Brach in my writing and improve on
Throughout my past schools years, I have been the type of student who not only wants but needs, an A. As I am working towards applying to prestigious universities I am working for the best grades I can
The highest score was in environmental wellness. I am extremely aware of the benefits that being environmentally conscious will have on our lives and the lives of the future. This
Overall my grades are not acceptable, well at least not to me. I may have to go back and help teachers so they can raise my grade. My plans for this year are to focus during class, complete assignments, and even get a job outside of school. Once again if I could go back in time I would of made better
...ry, it is easy to notice how people need different things, and require alternate ways of studying. You notice people’s emotions and how they react to their surroundings. Some people need silence, some need music, some need space, some need distraction and some people just do it to look good.
Success in a school subject can be measured in two ways. One way being based on grades-a higher grade equals higher success in that subject. The other way being based on understanding-if the material is understood the student is successful. The two are usually related in that a student receives a high grade because they understood the material, but this does not necessarily have to be true. A student can learn the material well enough to pass a test with an A and she is considered to have excelled when she may not even fully understand the material. Additionally, there is always a way to cheat- an option that has never been chosen by myself. I have earned A's all of my classes since the beginning of my freshmen year in high school. I am told by all of my teachers that I excel. But I only believe that some of them are right.
Life if like a roller coaster, there will be bad times and good times. There will be times where you fail and times when you succeed. In the grand scheme of things, most failures will not make a significant negative impact on the future. One bad grade will not completely ruin your future. Learn from these mistakes and strive to improve. Refrain from stressing over the little mistakes.
I believe that I deserve a B preferably an A because I believe that I did good this semester. As a junior this semester was very challenging for me. But I kept going with hard work and some dedication. One of my biggest struggles this semester was Math 170. Math has always been my downfall but I always try to get it. But this semester it just didn’t happen. But I can say that I did try, actually I tried really hard to get my work done. I also have a problem with procrastination, that’s something I really need to work on. If I didn’t learn anything this semester I learned that unasked questions don’t get answered. I feel as though I should have come to you more often for questions because I know that I didn’t understand the material. I learned my lesson and that will never happen again. Also, even though I didn’t get majority of it I still tried; I should get some credit for that. I took the first part of this final and got a 93, perhaps that could be my final grade right there. Despite taking 17 credits this semester, along with being a Resident Assistant, I have managed to complete all of the assignments for this class. Though I didn’t ace each and every assignment I did manage to complete or attempt them. So far I’ve had a lot of good grades in my other classes, and once again I can say Math 170 was the most challenging. I believe that I deserve a B preferably an A because I always try to do my best in everything in school, because school is important and my future depends on what I do now in school, and the grades I get are very important. When we had class I always took notes, and never been afraid to ask questions when need be. All of my professors told me that I’m a good student and that I’m going to be very s...
Ugh, it is so arduous to keep our grades straight A's. Especially in school, there are so many different courses throughout the school day. It is onerous to balance all these courses and keep A's. There are also many tests that we have, some of them are difficult, and it is extremely stressful to exceed on the tests. People tend to circle around the range of the eighties or even lower because of the many bothersome tests.
. My grades were usually B’s but I was able to achieve that with little effort and made it all the way through graduate school with applying the bare minimum effort.
This may not be the case for most students, but I want to be able to inspire my students to want to learn. I know that there is going to I also want to inspire them to read. Reading is going to be a big part of my classroom because it was and is a big part of my life. I want my students to enjoy reading and see all the benefits to it. I also want my students to be receptive of strategies I have. For instance, I struggled a lot with mathematics and doing my work too fast so I want to tell my students to take it slow and double check your answers after your work. I believe it 's important for students to know that small mistakes do affect the answer and if you aren 't careful you will get the wrong answer yet have the right
