1 Imagine not being able to go anywhere to have fun or to have any time to relax. Worrying about work, stressing to meet deadlines, losing sleep, there is no end. Students come home from school and spend hours and hours on their homework. Complaining, students even begin to question whether or not the teachers realize that their students have other classes to worry about as well (sarcastically). It’s a matter of easing the workload on students so they won’t develop anxiety which can result in fatal repercussions such as psychological problems with the students’ health and well being. 8 Teachers are unaware of the amount of pressure and stress they impose upon their students. Every student, without a doubt, would claim they would rather go home than to be at school which is every students’ dream. It is not common that students want to begin their homework right after they get home from school (why would anyone want to do more work after escaping the prison of stress?). School, to no surprise, exhausts every student and like clockwork, I go straight to my bed to nap thus, shooting myself in the foot. After waking up the next morning and realizing I haven’t touched my Spanish homework, I had no desire to attend school. Instead, I have to say I would have rather faked my sickness in order to stay home. Teachers unknowingly know the reason why students stay home and it’s not because they are sick (most of the time). Sometimes students are overwhelmed with stress that they become so lethargic and are sick of teachers giving them a ton of work (I know I am).
